Zool is a gremlin "Ninja of the Nth Dimension" who is forced to land on Earth. In order to gain ninja ranking he has to pass six lands.

The game is a pure platform game, relying on smooth, fast moving gameplay, colorful graphics and a popular soundtrack by Patrick Phelan which overlaps with the Lotus 3 soundtrack and has inspired several modern electro/techno remixes. The game also contains a number of embedded minigames, including several arcade games, a scrolling space shooter and a game accessible only by making Zool play a certain tune on an in-game piano or finding certain invisible warp points.

Meet Zool the Ninja - faster than a speeding Sonic, more powerful than Ken the Street Fighter, able to leap tall fighting mecha in a single bound! Yes, it's Zool - strange visitor from another world who has crash-landed on the very planet he was supposed to be rescuing! Can he still save the day?

This neat little Sonic clone was quite popular when it was originally released for the almighty Amiga, as Sega was rather reluctant at that time to port Sonic away from the Genesis. It seems a bit childish now that there are so many other good titles to compete with it, but it's still worth the look.

Zool and his daring lovely sidekick Zooz face a challenge that would wilt the knees of even the toughest Ninja. The Nth Dimension is under attack from the evil forces of Krool. Our heroes must restore the Nth Dimension to equilibrium and exile Mental-Block and his mind-numbing cronies before imagination is wiped out of existence. Zoon the two-headed intergalactic wonder-canine will help, but you'll need skills from the Nth Dimension to save imagination!

His name is Zool. He is a Ninja in the 2345th dimension, 5 worlds each with 4 stages.
In this platformer, you can run, jump, climb walls and shoot the enemies. There are also some power-ups for Zool: life-spending hearts, smart bombs, shields, more powerful jump-skill and a twin Zool.

In the options you can change the difficulty and the game-speed two times, the continues and the background music (Rock or Funk).

Easy access platform action that's let down by a sorry amount of challenge.
