Story: Fifty years ago, the master samurai fought in a ninja tournament to win a magical dagger that together with an ancient samurai sword, is believed to be the key to unlocking a secret cave laden with riches. After winning the tournament and rightfully gaining the dagger, it was stolen by the master's arch rival Koga. Though the master searched far and wide, he never found any trace of Koga or the dagger. Now, too old to continue searching, the master sends his three young apprentices, the young ninja brothers, Rocky, Colt and Tum-Tum, to assist him in retrieving the prized dagger.
Gameplay: 3 Ninjas Kick Back is a 2D Platformer game. There is an initial character screen, where one of the three brothers must be chosen as the main character. The game itself is a very standard side scrolling platform game. Each of the characters has their own unique weapon. Rocky has a bo, Colt uses a katana, and Tum-tum wields twin sai. Enemies consist of rebel ninjas working for Koga, wild animals such as dogs and bats, and hazards such as moving boulders and spikes. As shown below, the game menu is a system representation of the poster used for the movie of the same name.

A better-than-average submarine simulation that was much ballyhooed in its day, but shows its age now.

Sumo wrestling, like most sports, is an acquired taste. Western audiences for the most part fail to grasp the rich tradition behind this Japanese sport and instead focus on appearances - two really fat guys standing on a square wooden platform and trying like crazy to shove each other out of a ring inscribed within the edges of the platform. Once you understand sumo and its rituals, though, it can be just as entertaining as its American so-called "professional" counterpart.
Seems to be quite faithful to the sport except for some obvious Street Fighter 2 inspired touches. Great graphics, great sound, and good gameplay, makes a refreshing change from the usual beat 'em up.

Platform game inspired by the popular live-action movies starring Raul Julia, Anjelica Huston, and Cristopher Lloyd - derived from the long-running comic strip created by Charles Addams for the New Yorker magazine.
I'll keep it short and sweet - the good movie got the bad arcade game, a poor platformer in which Gomez must search the Addams estate for the lost family fortune.

How would you like to fight a war, with all the resources of a modern military force at your disposal? That is the basic premise behind this popular series of Japanese strategy sims - so popular that at least one port was made for every major gaming console and home computer system in Japan at the time.
Advanced Daisenryaku, aka Advanced Military Commander is a true historical wargaming sim, as you get to take on the role of Adolf Hitler as he conquers Europe during the initial stages of World War II . If you are a strategy buff, then you will go ape over what are the most sophisticated wargaming titles to be found for the platform. If you are an arcade gamer, look elsewhere - you will get bored fast.

Introducing our three chief protagonists: Aero the Acrobat, a daredevil bat who is the star of the circus; Edgar Ektor, clown prince and mean guy extraordinaire; and Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel, Ektor's chief henchman whose sense of duty and loyalty seem strangely misplaced.
Probably the most concerted effort by a software house in cloning the success of the Sonic series. Gets old fast, ridiculous in places, but you never lack for action. It sold by the bucketful when it was first released.
Aero the Acrobat has a really annoying circus music soundtrack & never quite lives up to it's promise as a Sonic beater.

Experience the joys and thrills of building up and operating a major air carrier in this unusual and unique series from one of the top names in the sim genre.
Cool, if you like this sort of thing. Managing an airline isn't the easiest thing in the world to do, let alone convert into a computer game. Think "SimAir" and you kinda get the picture.

Fly the U.S. Navy's top fighter, the F-14 Tomcat, in wave after wave of dangerous missions against all sorts of airborne foes. Ported from the hit arcade game.
Quite faithful - an almost perfect port, if it weren't for the choppy scaling. The game itself gets a little boring and repetitive after a while, but the action never slows down.

You have been selected to fly on a top-secret mission to attack the stronghold of a fanatical Mideast terrorist organization. They are well-armed and have the backing of several "unfriendly governments," so your only two advantages are the stealth fighter that you will fly and your own combat skills. Good luck, because you're gonna need it....
A dogfighting simulation that reminds one of the original Wing Commander. The cockpit takes up so much of the screen that you can't see whats going on! Boring and unimpressive.

Alex Kidd is the brother of King Igul, ruler of Planet Aries. Acting on a rumored sighting of their missing father, Alex travels to the planet Paperock to find him. Why the name? Because the child's sport of Paper-Rock-Scissors is a planet wide institution, and those who visit must display some talent in the game. The only MegaDrive entry in the long-running and popular series of arcade and console games by Sega.
Not very challenging, but not bad for a game made back in 1987.

Something has gone terribly wrong on the Suliaco's return trip back to Earth. Flight Officer Ellen Ripley finds herself alone on a prison planet, the sole survivor of her ship's unexpected destruction. Unknown to her and the inmates, she has brought an unwelcome visitor with her - an old and deadly acquaitence that could mean death for them all. Loosely based on the live-action sci-fi film starring Sigourney Weaver.
I usually don't like movie translation games, but this one's quite good. Good graphics and you get to be Ripley too.

It is the year 2015. A space faring terrorist group known as Scarlet has become strong enough to seal the space lanes around Earth. A sudden, desperate attack planned in secret wounds Scarlet's leader Epsilon, causing a power struggle among the terrorists and giving humanity time to regroup and fight back. Two old foes among the genetically-engineered terrorists now vie for control of the organization, the outcome of which could determine the fate of mankind.
From the makers of the legendary Gunstar Heroes, this platform shoot 'em up is reminiscent of Contra but with more options. Loud graphics and louder audio, looks cool and plays pretty decently.

A Fantasy-themed arcade game in which you play a beautiful babe who's quite proficient in the art of magic. Her job is to embark upon a quest to find a lost meteorite. News has it that the falling star is the source of the evil that is spawning all of the evil creatures that have begun to plague the lands. Only one person is strong enough to fight their evil spells and save the day. That person is you - Alisia Dragoon.
One of many excellent Japanese-produced action games. The ladies will like this one, since you play a heroine with a cute morphing animal sidekick.

Altered Beast is a side scrolling, platform, beat 'em up game. The player controls the centurion, fighting undead creatures and monsters in a setting resembling Ancient Greece, with originally five levels, in a graveyard, the Underworld, a cavern, Neff's palace and base at the city of Dis. One of the enemies, a white two-headed wolf (blue in the Mega Drive version, and a blue ox in the DOS version) upon defeat releases a Spirit Ball, a power-up orb which increase the strength and size of the player character. Three orbs turn the centurion into a beast, which in the original version were a werewolf, a thunder weredragon, a werebear, a weretiger, and the more powerful golden werewolf. Each beast has its own abilities, such as the dragon's flight and lightning, and the bear's petrification. After becoming the beast, the character can face the end-level boss, which upon defeat causes Neff to appear and remove the transformation orbs.
