Wave race 64:
Description:
I always used to rent this game when I was 4-7 or something so didn't remember it too well, but this game is just fantastic, now that I have it again!
The good:
-waves make the game more fun and challenging
-all the level variations are cool
-editing wave size and laps in options is a great feature
-controls are great on the gamecube controller work perfect
-great gameplay
The Bad:
-AI is really cheap being able to get back on the se-doos way easier than you can
so as you can see this is my current favourite game, if you want you can post your favourite like this below
My current favorite game is Shadowrun for Xbox360.
Description:
Been playing this since around june 07 and never get sick of it. Not a lot of content but one of the best FPSs I've ever played.
The good:
-each round let's you purchase weapons/magic/tech allowing you to customize and change tactics to respond to the other team.
-five playable races, each with distinct pros and cons.
-team play is important and rewarded. You only earn extra money by helping the team(killing is helping too)
-cool gameplay. Other games let you ressurect but none of them also let you hang glide, teleport, turn into mist, block bullets with a sword and a few other cool abilities.
-gameplay is fair and balanced as long as you understand how to play.
-xbox and vista players play together.
The bad:
-the company was bought out after the game was released so no new content(yet?).
-no single player mode(besides bot matches and training).
-not enough maps.
-limited weapons. I really don't see this as a bad thing though. The game focuses on abilities and magic. I've heard people complain about this though.
you play americans in world war to and you go to kick japan and the nazi's asses in the war
PROS
online mutliplayer is awesome
the old guns work well
all the maps are laid out fairly well giving equal ammounts of hiding spots for both teams depending on the game type you are playing
CONS
I have not played the story line after having the game for a few months
people glitch the maps but they are activly fixing them
when you first start to play its hard if you never played cod before because its extreamly hard to see the enemy
too many probably fallout 3 (wish my friend didnt break it though hes buying me a new one)
@dudebro- theres 4 races in shadowrun troll, elf, human, dwarf
@oasis- why is me playing online a con
and i think call of duty world at war and shadowrun are basically tied for second
world at war the single plaer is amazing id give it 11/10 and multiplayer is sweet but shadowrun beats it call of duty:w@w online- 9/10 and shadowrun multiplayer a 10
i liked gears 2 which i traded in for, but other than that, i'm online game rentals, so i get whatever is available, just had prince of persia, sould caliber IV next.
korg ds-10
not so much a game but more of an instrument
really fun to make kick butt tunes with
its based on, and has all the features of an old synthesizer called a korg ms-10, plus a few bonuses too
Right now- the original Super Smash Bros. for the N64. I used to play this a ton years ago at my friends house, we constantly stayed up late playing this game for hours. Now I've been playing it every chance I get with my friends for the past few months, and it just never gets old. I only wish there were more stages to choose from.
Good:
Incredible graphics and music
A LOT of of places you can explore and secrets you can find
This one does not require you to jump to higher platforms for five minutes just to reach a door
Bosses ussually present just the right amount of a challenge
Bad:
sometimes the enemies/boss battles can be too frusterating
some items are impossibly hard to find(I've spent the last hour looking for the grappeling hook to no avail)
wall jump can be just impossible
sometimes you might waste a lot of time to do something and then find out you need an item and have to go back to the other side of the game

agreed I loved that game, hopefully it will be released on the virtual console, I noticed that they have only released nintendo brand n64 games for the virtual console.
@ also I got a ninth points card the day before yesterday(yes another one ;D )
I bought wave race 64(of course ), f-zero snes and double dragon.
currently mario party with my buddies and occasionally a high level cpu to stir things up, but i perfer to play because its fun to challenge yourself and yet still have little redundance in game play so nobody you playing with comes to the consencis of the game being dubious or in other words boring as the act that here re so many theres pracicly an infite supply of mini games and story boards seeing there to be 10 games in the rapidly expanding series; they all also have unique extras such as items chance and unlockables. but yet even at tis like anyone i have my favorites of the seris in which think the best ones are 1, 4, and 10
by 9 i mean the gba one and 10 ds even though i think the gba on came out around the time of #6 for gcn
@cam3ron: they are only releasing Nintendo and Sega games, no RARE or anything else, so no Banjoe-Kazooie or Conkers bad fur day
my fave game at the moment also happens to be Tenser's fave game of all time! so far im just entering the Empire after beating the fire palace. I hated the ice palace more though: i ran out of magic before the boss with no faerie walnuts and very little items (forgot to check in on the store :O ) and BARELY scraped through: i had used all 4 cups of wishes (which is VERY rare for me), and was down to my last character, but he annoyed me so much by continually casting ice saber on me so that i couldn't hurt him! it drove me mad, and i couldn't do anything about it which was even worse!
they aren't going to put up every game, and haven't finished adding the ones they are going to add. i know, im hoping against hope that they release majora's mask on vc, i want to play that so badly!
Tenser/anyone else who MAY be interested but hasn't seen: secret of mana IS available for Virtual Console download - 800 points
