Goldeneye 007: Wii
Well, the rumors were true. A remake of the N64 classic is coming to the
Nintendo Wii. My only complaint? They switched Pierce Brosnin out for the new
James Bond. But everything else looks fine.

Re: Goldeneye 007: Wii
They should have switched Pierce Brosnan for the best James Bond ever, Sean Connery, the new James Bond, Daniel Craig, is too short, blond, and not Scottish. He's acceptable though, beats Roger Moore.
The game looks decent, the graphics don't look like they belong on the Wii, just need to be refined a little bit. The gameplay looks exactly the same as the first GoldenEye, which is both good and bad.

The important part of my post, was the part about the game, the part about the actors is unnecessary, but I figured since it was mentioned in the original post, I'd bring my opinion into it as well. It appears you are doing the very same thing, by stating that something was out of place by your definition. Oh, and my reply invoked no discussion so far as I can tell.

Re: Goldeneye 007: Wii
If Rare were doing it then it'd be on 360.
Anyways Rare hasn't been the same since Nintendo sold them, maybe it's a good thing they aren't making it.

Re: Goldeneye 007: Wii
Well I certainly hope the online play mechanics won't be garbage like Quantum of Solace, but at least there is no doubt about the campaign.
I don't want to get too hyped up though. They might pull a RE5 and make the game too cramped. Or is this supposed to be a level by level remake?

Re: Goldeneye 007: Wii
I always figured it would be a cold day in hell before I saw Goldeneye on the Wii, now I'm so happy!
I wish Goldeneye would now come to the Wii VC (NO CORRUPTING )

That would be really awesome. Though I doubt it because of the fact that it would be really lazy to have the exact same maps and enemy locations. If it was done right (like MGS: the Twin Snakes) the recycled maps and enemy locations would be good, due to just the improved AI.

Re: Goldeneye 007: Wii
Or, keep all the levels, and make all the improvements made in later installments in the series, add a few new weapons, make the enemies smarter, a new level here and there. Let you play as Sean Connery's James Bond, you know, nothing extreme.

Re: Goldeneye 007: Wii
I'm just angry at the fact it's Daniel Craig and not Pierce Brosnan, I mean I don't know if Activision couldn't use his likeness or something, also did Activision make the game Quantum of Solace?

Quantum was a very good game with crappy multiplayer. Hopefully it will be different this time.
They probably used Daniel Craig because they actually had Daniel Craig available to do the voice.

For their sake it better be, I don't think they'd wanna ruin the name Goldeneye nor it's legacy

On top of the fact we have the original and still find time for multi-player mayhem? This will take our wars to a new level!

I'm seriously anxious for this game. More opportunity to annoy SFF.
