Space Invaders '95 - Attack Of The Lunar Loonies » Coin Op Proof that Japan has a bigger imagination than America.

Stone Ball (4 Players) » Coin Op Caveman hit a ball with a club.

Moai-Kun » Nintendo You're an Easter Island statue. I guess that isn't too strange but it is fun so I'll leave it on the list.

Speed Coin » Coin Op Guide a quarter across a board.

Toilet Kids » Turbo Grafx-16 You ride a toilet.

Hatris » Turbo Grafx-16 You stack hats.

Bullfight » Coin Op You stab bulls with a sword.

Ram It » Atari 2600 Title pretty much says it. I bet you're curious now.

I am deliberately skipping games like Pac Man, Q-bert and Mario which would all be weird if they weren't so common. Once you get to a certain level of fame you can no longer be weird. And I am skipping adult games like Custard's Revenge and Beat Em And Eat Em.

Retro Uprising - Arcade - Cho Aniki: Bakuretsu Ranto Hen - Commonly referred to as a game for gay men but it only has a couple characters that would make a homophobe cringe. Worth trying at least, it's funny.

Retro Uprising - Arcade - Gnome - A garden gnome game. Really.
Retro Uprising - Arcade - Magic Garden The - Same. Might even be the same but I can't check, amiga is acting up for me again. I remember it has a creepy eye in the clouds watching you for some reason.

Retro Uprising - Arcade - Journey - An arcade game about the band Journey. It makes no sense but the music is cool.

Retro Uprising - Arcade - Toejam & Earl - Honorable mention, not sure if it's too famous to count though.

You have to say why you think it's weird. I don't think it is but I guess it could be to some people. It's actually one of the more famous video games ever made and Uncharted waters is similar but turn based combat.

Sure he does. If not then people can post pretty much any game because it's weird in their opinion.

He says "just as weird as any sim game" that's a blanket statement that covers lots of high profile popular games, which means they are not weird at all really.

It's all good I just wanted to explain why I think an explanation is important. I like the idea of this topic and I would hate to see it clogged up with games that most people wouldn't think of as weird.

A fun and colorful game that starts out as a side - scrolling shooter where you battle strawberries, melons, doughnuts, and ice cream bars, then after the first boss {a giant wedge of melon spitting seeds at you} the game changes to a top - scrolling shooter where you battle turtles ... and that's all I saw so far.

Retro Uprising - Arcade - Zool

You play as a "Ninja" who collects stuff and fight bosses such as a bee, an evil banana, and a guitar. Also the worst game I have ever played.

I remember renting this game when it first came out. Found out much later it was a sequel to Twin Bee renamed for North American consumption. Loved the weird bosses in that game like Willy the Watermelon head.

Metro-Cross Retro Uprising - Arcade - Metro-Cross (set 1)
This game is bizare, you play as a man running, jumping over over-sized cola cans, avoiding giant red cubes that somehow roll back and forth defying gravity, there are green rats that attach to the player, and you get electricuted for no reason when time is out. Also the default high-score names are all vegetables. Wierd

I actually love this game, it fits my insane personality perfectly

Retro Uprising - Arcade - Insector X - Patronizing "for girls" mode that gives the player auto fire and spread shot. The boy gets the usual straight shot. I guess they at least get credit for thinking of girl gamers.

Sounds like a great idea to me, perhaps if more games had that feature there would be more girl gamers.
But you're right it is kind of patronizing.
'Easy mode' or something like that would have sounded better; not all lesser - skilled gamers are girls.
