Recommend game for mom

Ok, so I have a Wii, a PS3 and a PSP, and when I go looking for games with my mom she always asks for a games that she might like.

I would prefer recommendations for the Wii, and this is kinda what she wants:

-Strategy or puzzle games
-Easy controls
-Something with lots of levels

Some facts: She likes those yahoo games, I saw her playing Farm Frenzy and she really liked it. She used to be addicted to Farmville. When my aunt lent us her gameboy my mom loved this games that was casino style, she could play slots, craps, roulette and poker... I think she only played poker but she played until she owned the casino. I got the New Super Mario Brs for Wii and the first level was waaaaaaay to hard for her because of the controls. She kept turning into a bubble because her nail was too long and she had trouble with the d-pad. We have the wii fit plus but she doesn't play it, I think because she feels to lazy to set it up. She loved playing baseball in Wii sports but she had just had a car accident and couldn't play because it caused her pain, I think that's the only time she played that. I think she likes games like guitar hero, when I bought guitar hero she wanted to play but once again, the controls were to hard for her... yet she liked the parade game in wii fit plus.

That's all I can think of... I'd appreciate some help since her birthday it coming up and I thought it might be a nice present for her... and no one at the game shops here has been of any help :S Thanks

Animal Crossing is always good, that and Harvest Moon, they may not bee all that great, but damn they are addicting.

As for the strategy games, go with Disgaea, and I don't play many puzzle games, but all I can say is things like Tetris and Dr. Mario are good.

I'll ask her about Dr. Mario, because I'm not sure she wants that sort of game... I have played Harvest Moon and I agree it's addicting.. but I'm not sure it's her kind of game... I will look up animal crossing and boom blox... Tetris I have on gameboy. Thanks for the suggestions

From the sound of it I doubt she'd like Animal crossing. It's good and everything but it doesn't seem to fit your description of what she likes. If she probably won't like Harvest moon then AC is probably gonna be the same.

Same goes for Disgaea. I think people are confusing what they like with what might be suitable for a very casual gamer. Also, does your mother like over the top cutesy anime and weird humor?

I think SJB and SFF had the best suggestions so far.

If she had a DS I would recommend Picross 3D and PuzzleQuest 2.

If you didn't pay attention to the point of the topic then maybe. Her mother has trouble with most controls and needs something easy. PC games using a keyboard don't really fall into that category imo.

Isn't puzzle quest 2 also available for wii? She does have a pc, she'll play facebook games on it, and some yahoo games. She also has a iTouch where she has many applications (she doesn't let me use it so I don't know what type of games she has on it), but I wanted something for her to play on the Wii

I was thinking of getting her something like cooking mamma (not sure of the name) or one of those brain age games... I heard Brain Age is good, but I'm not sure how long cooking mamma is

I agree with Ten about Puzzle Quest. It's a great series that combines Puzzle and RPG elements. If she had a 360 I would suggest Viva Pinata. That's pretty fun too.

Both Dr. Mario and Tetris for WiiWare have new features and have multiplayer
both on and offline. They're simple and addicting.

I know Tenser is joking but Manhunt is worth a play if you don't mind brutal murder sims. I played the first one and it was interesting and highly disturbing. If your mom is into slasher movies or other brutal media she might enjoy it.

I really doubt my mom would play manhunt... or me... too much brutal murder speeds up my motion sickness... never understood why since I don't mind it much in movies

There is a Bust-A-Move game for Wii. I think it's even better of an entry level puzzle game because it isn't as fast paced as a game like Tetris.

I'll be honest... I've been watching youtube videos of some games... smooth moves is an extremely weird game... I might get it... not really sure... but that is one weird game...

I couldn't see how the controller is used to play bust a move, but I think she might like it.

@Tenser... If you send me a picture of your mom playing rapelay I'll consider suggesting it to my mom :P
