Best Mario Game

So, what do you think is the best mario game ever made? i'll probably say it would mario 3 would be the best old mario games, and the best new mario game would probably be mario kart DS, mario 64, or super mario galaxy (even though it didnt come out yet, i still think it will be one of the best)

I'd have to say mario 3... but there are so many good games that its really hard to decide on one. Mario RPG and 64 are really good too.

I'd vote Super Mario 3 as all around best. Then Mario Kart(first one) for all around fun factor.

I think that Super Mario 3 is the best Mario, But the best Mario Kart is Mario Kart64.
But then again Super Mario 1 is cool too. ;D

The person that did that use some kind of cheat. At about 8:14 they get hit but retain their fireball power. Although the extra lives they got on the cannon parts was very impressive.

i figured they must be cheating for the simple fact on on of the level i forget which they gain thier speed power way quicker then possible i tried several times to do what they do but its not possible
its on the very first level his very first move he jumps the goomba then jumps the plant ... try that it is extreamly hard

and sabby i dont see the part your talking about at 8:14 when he first enters the castle he does got through one of the light bad guys but he uses a star power he got earlyer so he was invincible at that time

I don't think he actually hit the enemy at 8:14, he just came close. And i think this is one of those tool assisted speed runs. Even though none of that stuff is possible on an NES its still pretty fun to watch.

The star power ended long before (at 8:02)

I paused the video at 8:14 right at the part where I thought this person got hit (past the boo and coming to the double rotating spheres), they jumped and ducked which would make Mario look smaller. My bad.

I for one love Mario Games. And I think that Mario Brothers 3 was the best game ever made back in the day. It was a great fun game. It was very enjoyable. I loved it.

I'd have to say my fav is mario 2 just cause you get to use toadstool but i like mario 64 for the gameplay
