Straining in the breeze,
Pressed against a wall,
Holding on to what is known,
Sounds like us all,

The secret to a restful night,
Breathing evenly,
Making love a journey,
A ship reaching port eventually,

Leaves let go in the Fall,
Drifting without a care,
Held on course by God's breath,
Only he knows when you are there.

Putting yourself a drift,
No rudder needed,
No radar,
A ghostly ship,

The tides of the day,
Floating you along,
Waves of opportunity and want,
You just float away,

Enjoy the ride,
Let go today,
If you are lucky,
A loved one will float your way.

~ Courts Of The Temple ~ By Luna

Walk into the courts of the Temple
Hands brushing smooth stone
Tread upon floors of glassy marble
Step through the gilded gates
Only the finest in this place

The Outer Court
Stand among outsiders
Hands lifted in praise
Songs sung to the sky
Step through

The Court of Women
Alto and Soprano and higher still
Their offering to the Most High
Step through

The Court of Men
Tenor and Bass and lower still
Tremble the ground in praise
Step up and step through

Into the Holies
Priests only
Sacrifices and fires
Holy Relics
Hands touching golden walls
Gold and Silver goblets
Lampstands
A curtain is drawn back
Step through

The Holy of Holies
The high priest alone
offering prayer for his people

Knees touch the floor
Bowing after the altar
Your voice to the heavens
Your songs to the sky
Your offering to the Most High
The ground trembles
All fades

Stand before nothing
Kneel
There are no courts
There is no high priest.
There is only you
And I am
He is all you need.

All things have been stripped away,
so that any man may speak with his creator.
How blessed are we that this is so?
