Re: snes crash
Welcome to RU.
I've never heard of it. Does it happen every time? Where exactly is it happening?

Re: snes crash
If I remember right, in RU beta it sent me back to my real time suddenly in the past at the very beginning.

Did it happen more than once? Did you try it since then?
I don't feel like starting a game but if it's not far in I'll gladly test it out.

Re: snes crash
I'll try it later. So did it only happen once or every time in the same spot?

Re: snes crash
You know when I started playing some SNES games that I loved, parts of the gameplay freeze like a second. I was cheesed off.

Re: snes crash
It has crashed on me when I first went back in time too. Does it make a wierd sound right before it crashes? I eventually fixed the problem I had by turning something off in the sound options. It improved the sound quality too.

Re: snes crash
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest » Super Nintendo in ArcadeOX Score Mode, sometimes when I enter a room of any kind, the screen goes black while the music is still playing. I can press ESC and save the data, but it's kind of annoying. It starts happening early in the game and I imagine it will continue all the way till the end. Anyone know a fix for this?

I got that too, but it happens in the room that has the cure spell in it.

Re: snes crash
Might need to be disabled. I have never played a FF game so I dunno.

NOOOOOO! It works fine except for that part. It might be a bit annoying, but the game is doable. This is just going to require constant saving. I'm going to finish it like this even if it doesn't get fixed. So long as no other problems exist, the game is fine.

Sounds fine to me then. If we decide it's doable a mod can add the saving thing to the description.

the good thing about saving in this game is that you can save at any moment outside of a battle. you'll appear at the last door or room you went into. Even if the screen goes black, you can still ESC and save without a problem.

Re: snes crash
Besides this glitch why would people need a save feature like that? I remember this game being very easy when I was younger.

Re: snes crash
I just remember playing this game once when I was a kid. I finished it and never played it again. Not because I didn't want to, it's just that it belonged to a buddy and I had kept it long enough.
