Die Hard

super cop John McClane once said; "Yippee Ki Yay" ...I'm not saying the last word.

Die Hard for the NES however, doesn't deserve it. OK so if you've ever seen Die Hard [the first movie] then you know what it's about, for those who don't, I'll fill you in [ALSO I'M GIVING A BRIEF SYNOPSIS OF THE MOVIE BECAUSE OF THE GAME IT'S BASED OFF OF!]

OK so it's Christmas Eve and NY cop John McClane flies into LA to celebrate with his wife Holly. During the celebration Hans Gruber a terrorist seizes the building and kills the boss of the building Mr. Takagi because he [Takagi] didn't give Hans the code to the safe containing the 640 mil Hans is after. It's up to John McClane to save the hostages and his wife, John does and he kills Hans [fell out of a window] and the day is saved.

....talk about brief.

Now the video game, OK as the AVGN pointed out in his review

What is that reminiscent of?

Anywho, You play as John McClane who has to.. you guessed it: Kill the terrorists and save the day!

So let's focus on the ups and downs of the game, first off the UPS:
1) Uhhhmmm
2)Ermmm...
3) ....It's Die Hard, YEAH that's...that's one!!!

now the DOWNS:

First off; The difficulty, it is INSANELY HARD!!! OK when you encounter an enemy, he shoots a barrage of bullets at you and you got a measly pistol, it's hard to shoot him because he moves around like a 5 year old on an extreme sugar rush.

Second; The music...it's bland, it's boring and it makes you wanna rip your ear off, only after a while you get an 8-bit rendition of Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" it's a nice break from the bland music

Third; The Graphics. Now I gave them a 3 because yes they're standard for the NES but seriously, they do kinda suck.

Last but not least; Everything else; It's boring, dull, hard, and unappealing to the eye and ear. Now if you want a good example of a Die Hard game, play Die Hard Trilogy! Which I will review.

I tried playing this game on RU, but the game is very glitchy.

The only game i've played that had anything to do with Die Hard was the PS1 game. I remember that you had to use a gun controller to play it.

You realize that five is the best rating you can give it right? If the game is too hard or easy, it generally gets a one.

Yep. A standard set down by video game critics. I think if there were any lower, and there aren't, they would be negative.
