What did you play last week?

Something close to another thread we have here. I'm more interested in what you've played at home all last week. I'm interested in what everyone's playing, their thoughts on it and where they are in it.

Last week I played Lego Rockband and A Boy and his Blob.

When the wife and I both feel like gaming we usually play Lego Rockband. Its one of the few multiplayer games we own that we both enjoy. I usually play guitar. Right now I'm at where Medium is a bit too easy and I always 5 star everything and hard is a bit too difficult. The wife will either play bass on medium or sing on medium but she's starting to get into playing bass and singing at the same time, both on easy. We've almost 100%'d it though. We're around ~125 gigs played out of 161.

In the rare chance I have the living room TV to myself I play A Boy and his Blob. I'm about half way through the second map. I'm really enjoying going through and finding all of the treasure chests to unlock all of the antiques. I really like it when a game lets you unlock all sorts of items that have no affect on the game itself such as trailers and concept art. Plus pushing up on the Dpad makes the boy give the blob a hug.

I assume you are playing the Wii A Boy and his Blob. I'm interested, but if I want to get my Wii I have to temporarily trade my 360 for it.

I've been playing 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand. I know. But it's awesome. The shooting is satisfying, and the whole game is unintentionally hilarious. Or maybe intentionally. I'm not sure

Been playing a lot of Comix Zone lately, and me and a friend are on an NBA Jam kick.
Tried to play Ghosts N Goblins last night, but my cartridge is not functioning.

ive been playing tasunoko vs. capcom on wii, dragon quest 5 on ds on hyper sports on here.

tvc: awsome game but i still stink at it, ive only won 1 match online. i havent played too much yet, and i still havent tried out all the characters to know who i like most.

dq5: another excellent installment, i just made it to the last boss at about 40 hours in.
he whooped me, so i gotta go find a side quest or 2, or maybe hit it big in the casino so i can trade my tokens in for second metal king sword.

hyper sports: me and tanc have been trading this trophy back and forth for a while now, he's got it at the moment but i will take it back, before too long.

I'm on a Coin-op kick here at RU. I have an old PS2 but I never play it. All my gaming is here at RU.

I realize that I am a huge fan of Atari coin-ops. 720 and Paperboy have received a lot of my attention lately. I'm not sure if I like them because of the nostalgia or because they are just fun to play. Paperboy is absolutely maddening for me. It seems like it should be easy, but I always struggle with it. I managed to claim the highscore however, and I'd like to see how hard it will be (or won't be) to beat it.

I just read cassidy's post. I don't know how I forgot about it, but he and I have been battling at Hyper Sports, which is basically Track N' Field 2. It's a challenging game, but a fun one. I only wish I could pass the Triple Jump on a consistent basis.

I have been playing Assassins Creed 2 for the second time on the 360 (yes, it's that good).

I've generally been playing Brawl all week. Last week, I played Richard's copy of New Super Mario Bros. Wii. That game is hard to play with the Wiimote. I doubt I'll have an easy time with Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom.

No, it really has to do with being the only Genesis game my friend has that is competitive. We drink, play NBA Jam, and then dunk in each other's faces and yell obscene things.

Wow, that brings back memories. My buddies and I used to do the EXACT same thing in college, except there was usually weed involved as well.

I remember that Mark Price could LIGHT it up from 3.

This week, I plan to tackle of few high scores that I've been meaning to reclaim. More specifically, Granada for Sega Genesis.

came to $101.00 after taxes. I feel it was worth it, i got an adapter coming in the mail for about 20 bucks so i can use it on r.u.

The game is certainly easier in 1-player mode. That being said, the more players the more enjoyable the game is.

I've spent the last couple of weeks on Chrono Trigger DS. Now that I've beat it, I'm going to try to finish all the side-quests, fill out my bestiary, and get all the endings.

You can start over maintaining some of your items, and giving you access to some areas hidden on the initial save which the new game+ is built on.

Chrono Trigger has a feature in it that allows you to keep all the items you have collected through the game and then start the game over. The "New Game +" is that option.

I found a coin-op game on here called Bull Fight. I think it's both hilarious and fun. It's receiving the majority of my very limited gaming time this week.
