That's a show on Cartoon Network, they also did the Teen Titan's theme song.

Tails, I swear that the N.E.S. game is where they got the name for that duo.

The game you linked to here is almost identical to the one I'm thinking of but that
it isn't it.
However the one which does have the characters Ami and Yumi is identical in every other way...

What I mean is that like the many slight variations on games like Pac Man or Space Invaders they are all pretty much the same.
(it's a lot of fun seeing all those old games, though, since I remember most of them from way back when)

Umm, that was like 2005 tops. Since Teen Titans first appeared then, and then they got their own cartoon.

I am so certain that the names Ami and Yumi appear on - screen during a 'display' screen like some of the N.E.S. games had.

A nice touch I thought, to give it a small coin - op/ arcade feel in the early console days.

Really though I don't think that it was penguins, but if it was their names were Ami and Yumi.
