The Lyrics Game:Hard
This game is simple enough, name the song and band the lyrics are from. First one to get it right gets to post new lyrics.
This is the hard one, so post the trickiest ones you've got.
I'll start...
I'm so nervous, I'm so tense
My heart can't forget about this self defense
The air is so hot and my breath comes fast
I thumb the cool blade but I know this can't last
Go!

Re: The Lyrics Game:Hard
ok..
These days there's dudes gettin' facials, manicured, waxed and botoxed.
With deep spray-on tans and creamy lotiony hands you can't grip a tackle box.
Yeah, with all of these men linein' up to get neutered it's hip now to be feminized.
I don't highlight my hair, I've stillgot a pair.

Brad Paisely- I'm still a guy
I left out from mommas with my thumb in the wind,
the leaves on the ground, winters comin again.
Solid on the surface as I crumble within,
but legends are made out of vulnerable men.

No offense to Brad Paisely fans but that sounds pretty ignorant. It also sounds kind of homophobic. Btw does anyone else find it funny that the guy singing about being all manly has a name like Paisely?

especially since you know he actually does get make-up done to him just like every celebrity...never thought about that Paisely thing before but you make a great point

Yeah he's just trying to appeal to his audience, can't really blame him for that.

Re: The Lyrics Game:Hard
This game is supposed to be hard, right?
What's stopping us from googling every stanza in this thread?
We are the winners, pal.
We'll be in the fight, until it's finished.
We are the winners, we are the winners,
No time, for those who aren't champions,
Because we are the winners... of the earth!
Boom.

It's the same for any trivia topic(or game, we had to disable jeopardy because of it), you're under the honor system. Personally I stay away from these topics because I have a hard to time believing no one looks up the answers.

Exhale now you feel the funk of the power

Lol. I Wanna Get High, by Cypress Hill
Here I lie, on wet sand
I will not make it home
I clench my sword in my hand
Say farewell to those I love

Well DB there is a whole lot to that song that was one little part of it and it is near the end of the song. Brad commonly goes for the funnier songs that will catch peoples attention.

Runes to My Memory - Amon Amarth
lol damn, I was going to post something from Cry of the Blackbirds, but I saw this and didn't want to start an Amarth trend
Morning sun for the last time, warmth upon my face
Chills my blood and weary bones
My soul sheds no tears, passing in wonder
Will I ever find my way
