I am very excited about this.

"This is a side-scrolling action game in which players battle against monsters in Dracula's castle. Players use a chained whip to fight their way through halls and dungeons filled with zombies, skeletons, flying eyeballs, and bats. The enemy creatures frequently shoot projectiles and attack players in hand-to-hand combat. If players sustain too much damage, they keel over and emit a burst of red blood. Some rooms in the castle also have spikes or spears stained with red, blood-like splotches."
Castlevania Adventure was a Game Boy title released back in 1989. No release date for this rebirth has been announced, yet.

How exactly could we pull something straight off of Wii Ware?
EDIT: Even then, it's a new game, not a retro one

Re: Castlevania: ReBirth
Its not really a remake. Its a whole new game done in the same style as Castlevania Adventure. You can almost see it as a sequel.

Re: Castlevania: ReBirth
Castlevania Adventure was an awful game, I don't see how they should remake it.
It would be nice if they did a remake with a bit of the Simon's Quest adventure style in it.

(Castlevania: Rondo of Blood will be) “released shortly” (but) “it will not be released in English, however.”
The good news about all this? You don’t need to understand Japanese to play this game. It’s a traditional Castlevania game…which includes walking/whipping/jumping. I think those are all things you can handle without knowledge of the Japanese language.

Which is the reason I want a PSP, but I would rather not spend the money to get a PSP just to buy one game.

Re: Castlevania: ReBirth
Yeah really, I don't wanna buy a PSP for one game either. They need to stop this exclusive game bs and just make games for people to enjoy regardless of the system they have.

Re: Castlevania: ReBirth
Exactly DB, I also don't think that they should stop producing games for 'last gen' consoles, I can't afford a PS3, yet good games keep coming out for that, while my PS2(which I got recently) relies on used games from gamestop.

Re: Castlevania: ReBirth
PSP is worth getting, even without the games you can treat it as a MP3 player.

Re: Castlevania: ReBirth
Dsi can do the same, which is what I am going to get, as my DS has a broken hinge a sometimes non-functional L button and stress cracks running from the hinge to the mic.
