I think that this thread is going to result in alot of conflict on the forums. Even if you do not speak of this out there in the main forums it will cause hostility and people can read that. Especially if people just start spouting off stuff that can piss alot of people off. I think that this should probably be reserved for people that ask to have their opinion of themselves stated.

Sometimes you come off as posting just to post, often contributing little to nothing to the topic. You can come off as very confrontational, especially on topics of a subjective matter. You've shown poor judgement in certain circumstances. Your attempts of misdirection are obvious to obvious.

Moody I can see. That's one of my problems and I'm working on it. I never regret what I post but I sometimes feel bad about the tone of it. My biggest concern is that I might drive members away or cause long lasting grudges.

Well that explains why you poke at me about spamming. I wasn't sure how serious you were before because you try to mess with people so much, it's like the boy who cried wolf.

I openly admit that I post just to post sometimes. This is normally a bad thing but I swear my intentions are good. I feel like I should do my part to keep the forum active. Sometimes I feel that a topic needs a shot in the arm and usually when I post it causes someone to reply. Also Topics that have no replies are hard for me to pass up, I feel bad for the person who started it so I try to get the ball rolling.

If you guys think I'm actually hurting the site by doing this please let me know and I'll hold back more. I really don't care about post count, regardless of how much I joke about it.

As to what I think of you guys

Tenser, you love attention, and that's why you say what you do, but you do a good job as a mod, your witty with the comebacks and quick with them to, you keep things interesting, you tend to make fun of normally awkward and disturbing circumstances and situations

Dudebro, you have good posts and bad ones, mostly good, but there are times you restate the obvious or go in circles, you have jumped to a couple of unreasonable conclusions, but don't do it often, You have started some of the better debates on the forums, and usually can back up your claims with facts

Neutral, I don't have a positive or negative opinion of you, somethings you say are funny, others aren't, some things you say just baffle me

Sez, The grammar and spelling could use a little improvement, and you do seem to fall into traps that are obvious to avoid and sometimes don't go about solving them the best way, overall your an advantageous poster though

The most recent occurrence that comes to mind had to do with racial jokes in the Pirate Group.

Okay here is my take. I think much of this is the same thing I said in the My Hero Dudebro thread, but anyway:

Dudebro: You are one of the nicest guys around. I think you would go out of your way to help someone on here or make sure they understood something. You often seem to explain yourself so you don't offend someone (I tend to do the same thing at times, so I can understand that I think). The one area that seems to really piss you off is the area of religion. I may not agree with you completely on this issue, but I respect your views (they are your opinions after all).

Tenser: When I first started hanging out on RU, I used to think I pissed you off (or you were pissed off) continually. Then I realized that you just enjoy being snarky. I started to appreciate that more and more when I saw some of the complete idiots that appear on here from time to time. Plus between you and DB, you are kind of like the Yin/Yang of the RU site mods (I guess that makes Sabby an angel of the Lord?). I realize you are fiercely competitive, but find that stifled by the fact that you are a SM (which I think is a shame, but that's your choice I guess). By the way, I still think I piss you off often for some reason, but I have learned to accept it.

Sez: You are a hoot. Alot of fun. I think you also go out of your way to be accommodating to people and especially new RU members. Sometimes I think you try too hard to be nice to everyone, and I think you have been nice to people who are assholes and put up with them for too long, but that's part of being you I guess. I just always worry that you'll be hurt by being nice to people who don't deserve it.

Stevencassidy: You are a fun guy. Also, you have a great appreciation for sarcasm & satire (which I enjoy since I am kind of the same way). Around the time you were about to tie the knot (-aka- ball & chain), you seemed to transform into a different person, but lately you seem to have regained your humanity (either that or the Succubus is doing a very good job making it seem that way).

Squall: You seem like a nice fellow, but I still haven't known you for very long. I don't have any real negative, but if I get to know you better, I will try to have something bad to say about you.

Count100: I don't know you all that well either, but from little I have seen you seem to try to be very helpful and are kind to everyone it seems (other than your brother).

Neutral: Sorry man, but I don't know you, so my feelings are neutral.

Overall, I have to say RU is full of really great people. I truly mean that. Many of the people I encounter in real life (in the industries I work in) can be some of the most smarmy, snide, assholes anyone can hope to meet (or bitter, angry, assholes), so for the most part RU is a really safe harbor for me. I know this thread is supposed to more about slinging, but I just need to put in my 2 cents anyway.

I agree with the bolded areas and disagree with the underlined statement. That's fine if you think that's the reasoning behind my posts though. In fact, I heartily encourage you to continue to do so.

Well so far you seem to be pretty helpful. I havent been here to long as previously mentioned but so far everyone on here has been cool. Ive seen a few tantrums but nothing out of the ordinary.

And I am a fan of J culture. I'm a fan of the music (check the music thread) and Ive been trying to study the language but Im a novice at best. I took one college class in Japanese with my fiance' and got a D lol. But I love J shows, anime, and the culture in general. If you have any tips on the Nihhon language they would be very appreciated!
