I heard this game was only released in Japan, how does this site have it in English? :whatthe:

People have been creating translations of Japanese games for many years. For example, Final Fantasy 2 (Japanese version) was translated to english by rom hackers before Final Fantasy Orgins was released in the US.

If there is any game that you want to play that came out in Japan only, you can probably find a hacked rom in English here or on a rom website.

What Chubbs said is true about several games but in this case not true.

Earthbound Zero was fully translated by Nintendo of America but never released. Probably because they did not think they could recoup the money required to advertise and make the cartridges, boxes and other printed material. They did do the standard '80s NOA censoring - removing blood and crosses etc.

A couple prototypes were released years later on ebay. That is where this one came from.

They should have released it after they released Earthbound for SNES.

i just played the game, and some of the dialogue didnt come threw, they were just arrows, how come its like tat?

You were playing in Lite mode. It works fine in Full mode. I have disabled Lite mode for this game so you should not have that problem anymore.

OH!!!! i played lite mode cause it "makes the game have better sound and speed, and is almost exactly like the real game" thanx for letting me know kong
