Do any of you play it or did at one time?
Currently I have an account still but I've been playing it for along time and I'm very close to quitting for good.

Hope this is ok to ask here, just wondering if I'm alone on this topic.

I haven't played it but it looks pretty good.
I decided to quit playing MMO's because I would get to addicted and never get off the computer and I was really white.

FF11 isn't a bad game, I wouldn't still be playing it if it was. But, honestly I think it's past its prime and needs to be replaced.

One online game I'm waiting to try is Pirates of the burning sea.

MapleStory is pretty good. It's a 2-D MMO and it starts out kinda slow but it's get better later on.

Funny you mention Maplestory I was just reading about it. The screenshots look cool but it seems like every other MMo game in some shots(Groups of people standing in town shouting about selling stuff ect). Not to mention the whole 2D MMo thing seems very cluttered. I would still probably like the game if I ever got around to playing it.

I played FF11 in its infancy. All in all, it is a decent game. The level grind gets pretty unbearable after a while though. Plus, the lack of the Blue Mage (which I heard they added in the last expansion) and the inability to own your own Chocobo was a real let-down. Farming was a big problem in that game as well. One of the main reasons that I dislike most contemporary MMOs.

Yeah the level grind is bad, I never got max level because of how boring it was.
And yeah, they added Blue mage/Corsair(think pirate) and Puppetmaster- I love puppetmaster but not enough to keep playing.
They added ChocoRaising too, I have a Red male and female heres some pics.

First, Red Chocobo. This is my other character Schminda wearing Puppetmaster artifact gear (The helm is a Goblin Coif)

Second is schminda and her Automaton Nutcracker sitting outside town.

Third is me and a friend @ Halloween as Goblins

The Red Chocobo looks really cool. Darn...now you've got me thinking I should re-activate my subscription. Ah...no way. The level grind is still too much. Maybe if they didn't charge you an extra dollar a month for every extra character you have, or lowered the monthly charge, I would sign up again.

Yeah I really like them. I do alot of chocobo digging to make money and that's my digger bird. His big head feathers show he was raised for it. Also has a big beak but hard to see there. I have Blue/Black/Green ones too if you want me to post them.

Edit- I'd have to log in and take some pics so it wouldn't be right away.
