It's not really a rebirth since Contra 4 came out two years ago. It's more of a sequel or remake, but Contra 4 played so much like an old school Contra game that this one can't be a rebirth.

I think you mean Konami. I'm pretty sure Nintendo didn't pick out the title.

Also, its named ReBirth because its the next installment of Konami's ReBirth series. The previous one being Gradius ReBirth.

Yeah, I meant Konami, it could be worse though, what if it was Contra 4-2 *Cough*finalfantasyseries*cough*

I wasn't aware of Konami's ReBirth series. Right now I'm just happy they haven't tried making a Contra FPS.
