Only if you're not counting the newest one then yeah.
My top fighters are,
1-Tekken
2-Bloody Roar
3-Marvel vs Capcom
4-Mortal Kombat
5-Street Fighter
6-Bushido Blade
7-Fight Night(yes I'm including it here)
8-Soul Caliber
That's all I can think of atm. I didn't list which ones out of the series because I don't really care. Besides the newest Street Fighter, that game is a piece of crap. It looks awesome but it's a cheapfest from start to finish.

Not deprived, just find 95% of them very, very boring.
1. Street Fighter II Turbo
2. Umm...
3.
etc..
You're entitled to your opinion but don't think I'm deprived. I've tried Samurai Showdown, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Killer Instinct (even own some of them) but they're only entertaining for 10 minutes, tops.

Re: Your Top Ten Fighters
I think you would've liked Bushido Blade. There's no health meters and no special moves. You have a sword(or katana, Naginta, w/e) and three stances(high, middle, low). If someone hits your arm you lose the use of it. If they hit you in a vital spot, you die.

Re: Your Top Ten Fighters
Yeah, Bushido Blade was interesting. In the end I just ended up running in circles while waiting and often striking too early and being penalized for it.

I loved Mace. It played differently than a lot of fighters, but once you got used to the controls and combo system it really was excellent! Also it had sweet fatalities. Any game that gives you finishing moves of some kind should at least get some props. I could never buy how (as great as the game may be) Soul Caliber has all these combatants wailing on each other with swords, but the game was only to the K.O. and there was next to no blood. It just made no sense to me. To me, Mace was a good game all around and had a lot of cool characters in it that broke the traditional fighting game mold.

Re: Your Top Ten Fighters
@Timekillers, I've played it and it was fun but I lost interest after awhile. It was a unique game for sure though. Anyone who likes fighting games should try it.
@Tenser- I think you played the first Bushido Blade. It had more rules. Stuff like no hitting the guy in the back and not hitting them when they're down. The sequel did away with that crap.
Btw you know what was the worst fighting game? The Wu Tang one. Overhyped and underdeveloped. I'm sure at least one person will disagree but he's got a thing for Wu Tang and his opinion is bias. Besides, he likes Shaq Fu.

Re: Your Top Ten Fighters
I never got sick of it for some reason. I used to play it in the arcade. Then when it came out on the N64 me and Gamenguru and my sister would play it for hours. I had fun with it. The setting almost reminded me of Conan or something. It had an interesting almost prehistory feel to it.

Yeah, it was the first Bushido Blade. You didn't mention a specific one and I've never played the sequel, so...

Tekken is the bomb!
My favorite charicter has to be Yosumitshu (or how ever you spell it)
Did anyone see the sonic fighting game they brought out?
I completed it in like a half hour.
I would of been SOOOOO disapointed if i would of paid for that!

SHAQ FU! oh my god, I forgot about that awfull game.
The Wu-Tang game your talking about, was that the one on the PS1?
The one on the PS1 wasn't that bad, I could never get past the guy with the pointy hat - like raiden out of mortal combat.
I mean if your gonna buy a game for the rappers you might aswell try - Def Jam or 50cents game.
50cent is poo!

Re: Your Top Ten Fighters
Dudebro, how can you like Street Fighter but not SF4? I have a sneaking suspicion you might just suck at it since you dubbed it a "cheapfest". I have played SF4 so much, and I love it.
OK, 10 great fighters, only 1 Street Fighter game, no particular order. Let's see if I can do this.
Rival Schools
Street Fighter 2
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
Marvel Vs. Capcom 2
Samurai Shodown 2
Capcom Vs. SNK
Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom...
Alright, there aren't 10 great fighting games. You win, Tenser.

Re: Your Top Ten Fighters
If we could include beat-'em-ups on the list like River City Ransom then I could name five or six.

Speaking about random beatings,
what the heck was that "State of emergency" game about?
