Best Game Ever - Round 5

**Kugyince** · 04-21-2009, 07:15 PM

Part 1 of the 1992 - 1994 Era.

**Dudebro** · 04-21-2009, 07:20 PM

Mario Kart and Zelda.

**Kugyince** · 04-21-2009, 07:25 PM

Kart, Metroid, and Zelda here.

**Ragtag** · 04-21-2009, 08:01 PM

Tough group of games here... Personally, Supa MK, Supa Metroid, and Zelda were some of my favorite games of all-time. However, Doom (and Wolfenstein 3D before it) virtually created the entire FPS genre. Those ShareWare floppy discs spread like wildfire. Plus, Doom was the first game where I can remember actually being scared while playing it...

**jim5cents** · 04-21-2009, 08:49 PM

doom, streets of rage, zelda, super metroid

my opinion is that super mario kart is way overrated, it is just a sprite on a mode 7 screen

**Slime Slayer** · 04-21-2009, 09:31 PM

super metroid

**Kong** · 04-21-2009, 09:40 PM

I don't like any of these.

**Dudebro** · 04-21-2009, 10:18 PM

You didn't like the snes Zelda?

**Kong** · 04-21-2009, 11:00 PM

I have barely played any of these games. So to be fair I did not give Zelda a chance.

**ZedIsDead** · 04-21-2009, 11:44 PM

Super Mario Kart, Super Metroid, Streets of Rage II, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for me. This was the easiest poll so far to make a decision on.

You should, it's one of the best retro games ever made.

**mj23** · 04-22-2009, 09:03 PM

**Icculus570** · 04-23-2009, 01:20 PM

I've been playing Mario Kart 64 lately and it trumps snes mario kart I can't even look at it. I just beat Link to the Past for the first time...what a great game!

**Kugyince** · 04-23-2009, 04:33 PM

A Link to the Past is amazing. Its my favorite Zelda.

You guys may have already discussed this in a previous forum, but how would you compare it to the Wind Waker? I never really got into the 3D Zeldas, but I thought the Wind Waker was a really bold step with its cel-shaded animation and superb sound design. Again, I haven't played all the Zelda's that have been released, but the WW is my favorite since the original

**CatalystiCam** · 04-23-2009, 07:43 PM

Mario kart, DKC and Sonic 3 here.
