Must see movies (2009)

I haven't seen many new movies this year yet and I was looking for suggestions of good movies everyone has seen so far this year.

Movies I have seen are:

Taken
Knowing
Friday the 13th (dumb)
Gran Torino

There are probably a couple more I've seen so far in 2009, but if anyone has any other suggestion please let me know.

I heard Knowing was a thinly veiled religious movie(about the rapture and prophecy), also I dislike Nick Cage in most movies anyways.
Taken looks good and I like Liam Neeson.
Friday the 13th was kinda dumb but it was what I expected.
Didn't see Gran Torino but I want to.

I saw Watchmen and I liked it. I haven't seen anything else yet since the new year is so young.

ive seen a few documentaries
1. the obama-deception, about the idea that obama is a puppet for the bankers
2. methodonia-follows recovering heroin addicts and how the mix pills with their methodone
3. hated-about gg allin and the murder junkies
4. man on wire-about a french circus performer who sneaks up a heavily guarded skyscraper in construction to perform the craziest tight rope walk ever
5. street wise-following the stories of street kids in 1984, this was an educational film shown to school made in 1984, the best of the films listed here

i can't remember the last movie i saw in a theater, it had to have been sometime last year.

movies i'm looking forward to, star trek maybe, definately terminator, maybe g.i. joe

Yea, Knowing just didn't do it for me. It was ok at first, but then really started to displease me.

Friday the 13th was pretty much what I expected. I wish they could've used more/better special effects though.

When I watched Taken it sort of reminded me of Hostel, except better and with less gruesome scenes.

Gran Torino was a good film. I really didn't think I would like it, but I did. I haven't seen many Clint Eastwood films, but the ones I have were enjoying to watch.

Watchmen has been at the top of my list of movies I want to see. Hopefully I will get to check this one out very soon.

The wave was the only movie ive recently see quite decent

oh and JCVD i never imagine ill see vandamme that way

dragonball evolution (only because of the series, i'm a big fan)

transformers 2 (only if it doesn't have that lameo disney kid in it, i hate that actor, i think he is so annoying)

I saw Crank 2 yesterday. It was fantastic. Of course if you are looking for a serious action movie, you will disappointed. But if you are looking for ridiculous violence, stupid lines, and porn stars then you will find no better film.

Where The Wild Things Are looks fantastic. I love Spike Jonze and Dave Eggers, and I expect great things. Can't wait for that one.

Not alot to look forward to this year

GI Joe and Transformers look like they could go either way.
I'm pretty excited about Terminator and Where the wild things are.
