wired 500 dollars for a banana game?

i cant remember much about this game but

it was set in the future, you play a guy, but after a while you played 3 pleople
(one at a time) and one of them was a doctor i think

it had like 2 or 3 discs to it

plus for health, one of the things you could buy was a banana - which was like 500 dollars
(banaans being rare because of poultion ect)

erm what else can i remember? ermmm

i think this wasnt the first game of the named game because it was called like

_________________ 3 or somthing like that

you could run around the city, into bars and stuff and buy stuff...i think
i think you could buy shoes that could make you jump higher
plus you could buy wepons

i really cant remember,
the graphics were quite rubbish, very 3d, where if u move the camera in a certain way it messes up

in the game there is like a musium
where it tells you what happend to the earth ect

its quite a old game, id say pre 2002 maybee earlyer

this ones a hard one, so id give 2+ rep points for whoever gets it
1+ for telling me and remembering the game
and
1+ for understanding my clues, because even i dont understand them

this is wrecking my head because i havent a clue what it is called
plus i dont remember much about, even though i played it for hours on end and still never completed it

this sounds a little like a crappy rpg that was made by atlas but i can't remember the name of it either. do you remember what console it was for? my guess from your clues is playstation because of the numerous discs.

Was this the first Fallout game or a variation?

It's not any fallout game I've ever played. There's no jumping shoes or bananas.

It was for the PS1 and it had 2 or 3 discs.

Its was based on the future, and your charicter is this blonde teengaer guy

All I remember was that the world is ruined because of whatever, and if you wanted energy you could buy a horse burger for cheep or pay 500 dollers for a bannana.
Also later on in the game you become 3 charicters (one at a time), one is the guy you was origanally and the other guy was a old scientist and I think the other charicter was a girl.

The graphics were nothing specal, I just wish I could think of more.
I cant really remember what the plot was about, I think it involved saving the world.
