At the beginning it says something like the use of this game in Japan is illegal. So I just kinda assumed that it was a fake version.

I've never played the first one. :P

allow me to explain that

that means than using that arcade cartridge ( on a arcade) in japan its illegal because each continent has is on version ( with is own language) ( europe, asia, Usa) ( even there are versions for each country long ago i played a spanish cartridge of MVS Vs Sf on an arcade) it was illegal outside spain xD
i never understand why was illegal but it was
that dosent mean its a fake or someting
fakes dont have arcade versions there are edited for mame ( well there are some on arcade cartridge)

You know, the music in the arcade game sucks. It's just that Do do do do do stuff. But in the console version the music was just awesome. Cauze I love to play a game with awesome music.

Street Fighter 1 could be worse, look at Street Fighter EX.

I have done the special moves alright in the first Street Fighter.

They're very difficult to do though.
I like how they had to change Mike Bison to Balrog.

Here's how I done the special moves:
Hadouken: I had to tap Foward, Down, and Punch
Shoryuken: I had to do the same thing with the Hadouken
Tatsumaki Senpukyaku: This one I had to tap Backwards, Down, and Kick.
