Making a game

ok, fedex, i have a feeling youll want to know about this-_- ok, im having another attempt at an LoD2 game, im using Adventure Game Studio Editor v2.7 and it requires you to make the backgrounds and character sprites. any help here? fedex, im thinking you because youll know what im looking for. anyone else interested? you'd do well, to have been in all areas of LoD before helping, just so you know roughly what to do

Legend of Dragoon, not remember my hype about it? me and fedex talked about nothing but that for ages... i dont even know if i still have the program to make it anymore... now that i think about it i should have used RPG Maker...

have you played it then? yeah, ive got it on my comp now, just got the final disk. i always thought it was great. i actually beat it twice in a month: the first was just me running through it, the second i was trying to level up all dragoon spirits to level 5 and try to get all of the strongest weapons ;D

I haven't played it since it was still a new game but I played it all the way through and liked it a lot. It was too short though.

you obviously didnt aim to get all the weapons, like the soul eater. i actually managed to get 3 ultimate warlords in it! that was the accessory that completed the addition for you, with full damage and SP! so handy for Lavitz/Albert's final addition, which was so hard to get to level 5...

what annoyed me was that the first time i tried it, i almost never used the big guy, so i didnt know you could get his DS earlier, had to wait until disc 4 to get it and nowhere to buy spirit potions (easiest way to level up DS ;D )

RPG Maker? Isn't that one of the programs that cost $132 so you can make your own online RPGs, like Runescape and the like? I clicked on an ad, thinking it was free (it said MAKE YOUR OWN RPGS!!![my bad...]), turns out it was a store for computer gaming technology.

no, its free, and quite often you have to find the sprites yourself, though it does come bundled with them. http://tkool.jp/products/rpgxp/eng/ - thats the link - its ok, i never finished a game on it though. if anyone wanted to, we could work on a game together. (oh, btw, i got my comp working again ;D now i CAN get back to doing all my old stuff ;D )

Speaking of making games, I have some great ideas (story, battle system) for RPG's, but absolutely no programing experience at all, so, anyone wanna work with me to make one?

it doesn't involve programming - that's how im able to make one :P it just involves downloading the program RPG Maker and using that to say what the maps look like, what the characters are and what/when events happen (involving Quests

theres a free '30 days trial', which i have, but i don't know if there is anything to stop you using it or, alternatively, moving the game folder to a seperate place and redownloading it
