Adventures on xboxlive
I just wanted to let everyone know that I chopped up MJ in shadowrun. Then I stood near his body and waited for his teammates, they died too.
It was fun either way. MJ did great for just getting the game. Besides that round where he killed two of his teammates with the chaingun(best part is he didn't notice, just walked right over them). :P
Another cool thing is I went 12-1 and got an achievement for "killing 10 enemies without dying". Not as easy as it sounds right MJ?
Yeah I'm bragging, it was an awesome match. Out of all the times I've played this game I've never done that good. I think MJ is good luck(or just a good distraction).

Re: Adventures on xboxlive
9 of those kills was mj :P
you have been telling me to get shadow run
but I have been consumed with Call of Duty 5
its a compolsion to get my kill to death ratio back to a positive
I just cant stop playing. I have no time to play games yet I find myself playing this game for a few hours every day
my ratio is currently at 0.74 I am down like 400 kills to break even so I have been moving really slow through the levels taking my time and camping alot trying to ensure I end the match with a + spread
but I should get shadowrun and play with you guys

Why not start over? That would make it easier to have a positive ratio.

Re: Adventures on xboxlive
I think I overloaded my xbox with awesomeness last night. After MJ logged out my headset died. It was giving everyone feedback for like a half hour before I noticed. I probably got muted by a lot of people.
To be clear btw, I only played against MJ for like one match. I got my killing spree while on his team(that's why I think he's good luck).

I don't even know how to check the ratio. Is it global or just for Call of Duty?

its basically in game stats for each game across a global leaderboard
in COD WaW you go into the barracks and click leaderboard>kills and it will say you have died X amount of times and you have killed X amount of times giving you a ratio mine is roughly for every kill I get I die 1.3 times
an even ratio would be for every kill you get you also Die a 1:1 ratio or 1.0
I am down about 700 kills to get back to 1:1
but its going up
I dont know if they do it the same in other FPS but I know Halo also keeps track and you can find that on bungie.net where I am also down about 200 kills
halo stats
Ranked matches
Kills = 2720
deaths = 2927
Games = 271
ratio = 0.93
social
kills = 2500
deaths = 2541
games = 227
ratio = 0.98
so I am doing better in halo then I thought

Re: Adventures on xboxlive
It doesn't really matter Oasis. If you're worried about Trueskill rating then don't bother. I hear it's a joke anyways. I get in games with really good players and really bad players. Unless mines in the middle I think the system doesn't work.
My rating might be ruined from shadowrun, I spend more time helping my team than killing. I usually have like 3 kills and 10 raises. I don't keep track of deaths unless I do really good(like 12-0).

Re: Adventures on xboxlive
That's cool then. As long as you don't think it matters overall. A good player is good when it counts, not on a stat sheet.
Ranked, 27kills 45deaths = .60 ratio
Social, 191kills 157deaths = 1.22 ratio
My social ratio is higher than you! :P I haven't played Halo much on this account.

Re: Adventures on xboxlive
If you're having trouble killing people try Smartlink. It helps you aim(small auto targeting) and it won't let you hurt your team with stray bullets. Also every gun gets a level of zoom while it's equipt. Snipers get 2-3(I forget, never use it), rifle gets 2 levels of it. Even guns that don't have zoom get one, like shotgun and smg.
The only drawback is the laser pointer coming out of your face. If you turn it off you still get the zoom but not target assistance. Also the mana penalty.
If you have any questions just ask, my mic being broken means I can't help you in real time. I'm buying a 20$ headset in the next couple days.
One word of advice. On that level PowerStation, if you start as the Lineage(tribal looking) you need to get inside the station asap. The best place is the basement. Outside is full of sniping and people attacking from the highground.

Re: Adventures on xboxlive
just an update if anyone plays call of duty world at war I am going to be making a web page (maybe)
but anyways there is not alot of help on the internet so I am taking the maps and I am editing them to show where the windows are and where the key camping points are ect
I am even going to put on the maps my recomendations of where to put your bettys and where you should camp ect ect mainly a map level guide
depending on how much time I have I want to make a web page where you can click on a building and you will get a new .jpg of that zoomed in on that building and it will show you the key locations of that building is and where its weak spots are
for example if you were looking out a door it would show you that you are able to be spoted from behind

Re: Adventures on xboxlive
well last night truly ticked me off
last night me and dudebro are playing shadowrun and this guy named "minion preacher" came on and got all up in my face for making some bad moves in the game. so the first game all 4 players on each team were fighting in the trench except me, i was trying to find a way down there,honestly well he died and when you die you can watch your teammates and he saw me and when he saw me
him- "Big D! get down in the trench and fight dont stand on the roof, FIGHT!"
me- "im trying to get down there i cant find it"
him after i die- "BIG D ARE YOU F***ING SERIOUS YOU DIDNT PULL THE TRIGGER ONCE!!!"
me- "are you serious its a game calm down"
him "NO BECAUSE ITS A**HOLES LIKE YOU WHO MAKE THIS GAME NO FUN YOU STOOD THERE WITH A SHOTGUN AND DIDNT SHOOT ONCE"
me- "I DIDNT SEE ANYONE"
him- "SURE, YOU WERE JUST ON THE ROOF SITTIN THERE JERKIN OFF YOU DIDNT MOVE!"
*next game we start he immediately kills me(we are on same teams)*
me- "ARE YOU SERIOUS"
him- YEAH IM F***ING SERIOUS YOU DIDNT PULL THE TRIGGER ONCE YOU SHOULDNT BE ALIVE"
ME- "CALM DOWN"
him "NO ITS GUYS LIKE YOU WHO MAKE THIS GAME NO FUN!!"
and that kept goin for a while also dudebro kept telling him to lay off because im new but the guy kept going and this is why i never have game chat turned on because you get stuff like this

Re: Adventures on xboxlive
You have GOT to be kidding me. Seriously, over a game? Well, there's another reason why an XBox won't make an appearance in my house.
"MP" needs to take a serious look in the mirror, but that may involve going upstairs out of his mom's basement. He is the true epitome of his statement - "It's guys like HIM that make games no fun" :P

Re: Adventures on xboxlive
Yeah MP was one of those people. He had a problem with our whole team(besides me). He didn't care that MJ was new, he was just upset because he kept dieing. He would run out and fight a couple people at a time, by himself, and die. I'd go and try to back him up and he'd already be dead.
The part with MJ was totally BS. He started bitching as soon as he died. Even if MJ headed towards him sooner he'd never be able to save him. The guy was a moron.
Also I'm not sure if MJ noticed but I did get MP to stop attacking him. A started one round by charging at MP and swinging my Katana at his back. He stopped and looked at me, I stood in his face for half a minute to let him know I meant it. After that he focused on the other guy on our team.
The funny part is MP had like 4 kills. The other guy he was talking trash to(every 5 seconds) got like 20 kills and barely died. Noob.
@sabby, don't let this change your mind about a 360. You're always going to have morons online. You can just mute them and instantly you never hear them again. It's the same on Ps3. Wii doesn't have this problem but it's online is a joke.

Re: Adventures on xboxlive
yeah I also can not really what games must have been like before online multiplayer for FPS or the like type games or even sports games
you occasionally get people who troll the online games just like in forums there is no stopping it I just mute them and continue playing
but playing online is so much fun because its always a different game because people play differently than the computer
