Sega should make a new system

O.K. Just think about it. Why did Sonic and the secret rings suck?

two words: Nintendo Wii

Sonic games keep getting ruined by Nintendo, sonic even sucks in brawl. So sega should make a new system and be like "we're back, up yours nintendo!"

How did the Wii ruin Sonic? It's still Segas licensed product if I remember right.

Gamefreak is right, they won't be making another system. Maybe in a few years but with the poor sales of the last couple systems I don't see them taking such a big risk again.

I like Sonic in Brawl.

Nintendo has nothing to do with Sonic games sucking. I mean, there are bad Sonic games on other consoles. It has to do with Sonic Team not having their talent anymore, and the concept of a super fast hedgehog not being a great concept for 3D/modern games. The sonic games for GBA and DS are good because they are 2D. So it is still possible to make a good Sonic game.

I loved the Dreamcast and the Genesis, and I would love for Sega to make a new console, but it will never happen. It is too expensive. Plus, they had the opportunity to make consoles are they messed it up by putting out too many too fast and doing some silly things on the business end.

I think what hurt Sonic is the fact that Sega kept adding new characters to the game. I mean come on, Sega. Stop putting alot of characters in your games. We only want to play as Sonic. That's all. Oh, and maybe Knuckles & Shadow too.

It's a darn shame when all they can do that's left with Sonic was putting out 2D games of him all over the net.

I think that secret rings would have been more fun using a regular controller, it got boring in 3 minutes turning it left and right and right and left over and over.

And Sonic 2 Adventure Battle on Gamecube is good, so it has nothing to do with 3d.

Well I think it DOES have something to do with 3D, because I have never played a bad 2D Sonic. And there are only 2 good 3D Sonic games. I'm not saying there can't be a good 3D Sonic, but it is obviously more difficult than a good 2D Sonic.

Not everyone liked Tails. Personally it was one of the reasons I stopped playing Sonic. I hate goofy childlike sidekicks(unless it's a martial arts movie).

I never said "I dont like Tails" either. I was saying that people liked playing as Sonic or Knuckles more.

Updated versions of Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 don't count as more games, if you ask me.

And I hated Heroes, as well as 3D Blast.

Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 are the only good 3D Sonic games if you ask me.

Yeah. I don't think Heros was that good of game really, though I do like the idea of playing as Sonic, Tails, & Knuckles at the same time.

3D blast was awesome

Heroes was decent, it's different, but still pretty good

Never played Sonic Adventure 1

Sonic 2 is awesome
