BATMAN THE DARK KNIGHT
I used all caps because this movie deserves the attention.
I won't spoil it for people but seriously, GO SEE THIS MOVIE. Even if you're not a batman fan this movie should still impress you. Heath Ledgers performance was simply awesome. I don't say that because he died after making the movie, he was honestly awesome.
It's so awesome that now I don't like the Michael Keaton batman movies. Jack Nicholson as the joker was good back then but now it looks like crap compared to Ledgers version. This is from a guy who hated ledgers movies up until now. Well Brothers Grimm wasn't too bad.
Please only vote after you've seen the movie since it will matter.

Ledgers version meaning how he played it vs how Nicholson played it.

Re: BATMAN THE DARK KNIGHT
simply put with out ruining anything
heath played the joker the best out of all of them
jack nicklson's character for the joker was the best by far though
and yes there is a difference

The guy who hated Ledgers movies is me. By Ledgers version I meant how he played Joker. Maybe it's just me but I don't see how that's confusing.

Re: BATMAN THE DARK KNIGHT
Yeah it's not much of a spoiler since Harvey Dent is listed in the movie. As long as no one goes into details it's cool.
And I meant I didn't like A knights tale and BrokeBack Mountain(yeah I watched it ), ect, I don't think he's a bad actor in those movies I just didn't like most of his movies.

Just the beard did? Seriously, I thought Brokeback Mountain was a good movie.
From what I've heard and seen of Batman, the movie seems like just all flash and cinematics. I'm not into all the special effects and Hollywood glitz. I didn't like the first Batman or read comics so my opinions a bit skewed. It just seems like another crappy superhero movie to me.

Re: BATMAN THE DARK KNIGHT
well tenser its acctually not really all that bad
I am not into the hyper of all the special CG but this movie did it very well there were action scenes but not many of them
most of the movie seemed to just be good diolauge
also with twoface I thought that they were setting it up for a second movie because about half way through the movie I was like this move has to be ending because the plot is picking up but no it just kept going.
the second half of the movie is way better.

Most of the movies I go out to see are at the drive-ins. Its nice because the truck has two bench seats so the boy has the entire back to himself. By the time the first movie ends he's passed out and the wife and I can get a bit more comfortable with the front to ourselves during the second movie.
The last two we went to see were Kung-Fu Panda and Indiana Jones 4. I thought KFP was fun and the boy liked it. I was bored with IJ4 but I don't care. I just like the idea of relaxing and spending time with the family.
The last movie that I seen that I really liked was Gloomy Sunday and that was about a year ago. :P
{OOC: You mauled the hell out of the word "dialogue" there. :P

Re: BATMAN THE DARK KNIGHT
I just saw it last night, Ledger played the sado-masochistic role extremely well, It wasn't quite as dark as the comic verion of "The Dark Knight" but that was a little different story. Anyway, this movie adaptation was one of the few Batman movies i liked, lol one of the few new movies i liked. I thought it was amazing, If the third one is as good as these 2 have been I'm definatly going to see them in theaters, to bad Ledger OD'ed. but yeah, I was actually going to start a recommened thread about it until i logged on and saw this. Great movies, in all aspects
