Help Needed: Large DVDs

I hope this is OK to post, at least on the Hero board.

I was trying to copy a 360 game for the first time. In order to do it, I need to trick my PC into thinking my 360 game is a DVD, therefore I need a DVD as big or larger than the 360 game in file size. I went through all my DVDs, and the 2 largest were Schindlers List and a disc of MASH Season 1. They are both a little under 8 Gigs (I think 7.94 to be exact). I tried to use them, but was told they were not as big as the game I am trying to copy (Rainbow Six: Vegas 2).

My question is, what is the largest DVD in file size that you people know of. I think I need something that is 8 and a half gigs or bigger. I watched a video on youtube and some guy used bonus features from the Star Wars triolgy, but that only comes with an expensive box-set. Another guy I saw used a disc from a season of 24, but again that is an expensive box-set.

Your help is much appreciated. Pop in your longest DVDs and let me know if you find anything big enough.

Re: Help Needed: Large DVDs

memorex 8.5GB $89

but its a 50 pack. that is the largest on the best buy site. I know that does not answer your question exactlly but I hope it helps. Did you try an animated movie I am sure that would be pretty large. (maybe)

so are you modding your PC to play your 360 games

if so thats awesome. Let us know how it works.

Animated movies aren't any bigger than normal ones. I put in a disc of Speed Racer episodes that was 300 minutes long and it wasn't as big as most of my movies that are a little over 2 hours. I think special features on the same disc as the film help.

And no, I am not modding my PC to play 360 games, I am modding my 360 to play back ups, but I have to back up the games with my PC.
