Police tells the Asbury Park Press the man was late to a costume-themed day at a nearby middle school.
The lockdown began shortly after 9 a.m. Wednesday and lasted until 9:30.

Re: Ninja sighting at a school causes a lockdown
lol, summer school at an elementary school, wow those are some ...uh, ill try to be soft about it, slow students, im sorry but if your already failing classes in elementary school, you may need help
and they lockdown for bogus reasons, and good ones they ignore, someone at one of my old high schools was causght with a loaded gun, and i dont think they locked us down for the rest of the day to search students for other weapons

Re: Ninja sighting at a school causes a lockdown
they do summer schools for that too? ive been to some many school systems that i always thought that summer school was for failed classes, thats what i was told, so i didn't think they did the testing there, any tests i took were just off in the corner riht before enrollment

Re: Ninja sighting at a school causes a lockdown
They used to do elementary summer school here that was kinda just like a day care. It was mostly for less wealthy families who needed to work but couldn't afford day care, but lots of people went just for fun too if you could believe that its possible to use the words summer school and fun in the same sentence.

Child safty, it could be someone to try to kidnap a child so they lockdown the school to prevent a Miranda Warning.

Yeah, but a while ago this would have been that big a problem, and now with the declining economy, and rapes, assalts, and other crimes being as big a prblem as they are there realy is a chance some crazy person could be discised as a ninja to kidnap someone.

So are you saying that just because the incidents are declining we should be less aware and when if it does ever happen not be ready? Sorry I'd rather be too protected with my child than under protected.
