If you have not played it I recomend you do it is a easy platform/shooter that offers a decent challenge to get through the levels. I spent 5 lives just trying to get through a lava part that is like mega man 1's flash man part with the beam lines.

I always loved that part of the game so maybe thats why I like this game.

it was on the high score board but I took it off quick before people could play it. Just dont want it to slip under the radar because its good.

rapidly killing a 'respawning' enemy just to obtain more points.

A better example is getting at token that is worth 10000 points then you get a extra life and then die.

when the game starts again you get the token for 10000 points again and the extra life then die

over and over again.

this may be purposely doing it or doing it on accident but both are considered farming

what if it IS truely an accident, and you just died and got thet points, that seems smart,not chating, doing it on purpose is another story though

Farming is running around one area to defeat the same enemies over and over again to gain points or items instead of advancing through the game. This is a perfectly acceptable practice outside of competition (such as the arcade or a tournament) and is used for games that award you a free life for hitting certain point benchmarks. The NES game Trojan comes to mind.

Grinding is a term used for when a game forces you to farm. Such as gaining levels or gold in an RPG.

Camping is hanging out in a safe spot on the screen which allows you to attack your enemies while not being struck yourself. While this is perfectly fine on RU it should be noted that its usually frowned upon by more "hard-core purist" gamers and challenge players.

A challenge player is someone who willingly hinders themselves in a game, thereby making the game much more difficult than normal.

Also. If you farm too much when you submit a score then your score will probably be deleted. If you cheat when you submit a score then your account might be banned. Farming and cheating are not the same thing.

Farming- Killing an enemy/ getting a super good item through some exploit over and over again
Grinding- Getting exp in a small group (in most MMOs though)

i always grind on the pokemon games, i remember i spent two weeks getting all my 6 pokemon to level 20 before the first gym on emerald.

yeah, but pokemon asks for it, i mean you need to do it at times, particularly right before the elite 4...

you must grind on most RPGS. It is in the nature of the game.

The amount of grinding in Dragon Warrior almost ruined the game for me.

I played Bucky O' Hare a couple times and enjoyed it.
