Munchkin (card game)
It's very very fun it's like a roleplaying game but without those annoying rolls of dice and interpretation..
You are a group of adventurers entering a dungeon and slaughtering every critter you found and looting every treasure they had ^^ whoever kills a monster go up a level, and the first to reach level 10 wins the game. It's one of my favorite card games not too long to play (usually about an hour) and ver very fun, the card's are illustrated by John Kovalic. Well hope you like it.
In wikipedia (as always) are more info for this game

Over the centuries, mankind has tried many ways of combating the forces of evil... prayer, fasting, good works and so on. Up until Doom, no one seemed to have thought about the double-barrel shotgun. Eat leaden death, demon...

Re: Munchkin (card game)
It's inspired in dungeons and dragons, i mean, you have level, you have classes, you have races, the races and the classes are like D&D, you know, thief..warrior..mage..elf..dwarf.. but it ends here, it's not a roleplaying game, you compete with the other players to reach level 10 before them, and they will do anything to stop you gaining levels, but you can bribe them
ej. you usually need help to kill a monster, and other pleyer may help you if it get some award like letting him loot the treasure..but a third player can help the monster beat the two of you..
hmmm sounds more complicated than it actually is (it's really, really simple), but its worth a try, look wikipedia for more info.

Re: Munchkin (card game)
So from what your saying, its a combination of WOW (World of Warcraft) and Dungeons and Dragons then. Sooooooooooooooooo many people at my work as sucked into WoW that it isn't even funny. I will reccommend this game to them

Re: Munchkin (card game)
I understand perfectly what your saying, and what your saying is that despite its a card game, it has very simular attributes to WoW and D and D.

Re: Munchkin (card game)
uhm, ok, take it easy..
well there are similar atributes, but they are so generic that it doesnt make the game similar..
I agree on that, wow sucks I've been playing it for a few months and then quit.
Well hope you try Munchkin and tell me how it was ^^
