Can't use RU anymore with Firefox?

So I came back to RU after upgrading my laptop to a Windows 10 system (not my choice), and it seems the newer version of Firefox I have won't allow ArcadeOX to run or be installed at all.

When I went to score mode for the first time the page says that I need ArcadeOX to play and provides a download link but when I click on it it says :

"Firefox prevented this site from asking you to install software on your computer"

I also do not have internet explorer anymore, only that stupid MS Edge that also will not allow ArcadeOX to be installed.

So do I have to install some older version of Firefox just to play some Major Havoc on RU now or what is the trick to get it to work with Windows 10 and newer Firefox versions?

Took a look at your new beta but it does not have score mode and I could not even figure out how to get it to load a game.

Any help would be appreciated.

This worked for me, but you have to cut and paste the RU URL into it first using the Tools Menu in FF...I could not find the actual IE Tab icon they refer to anywhere...

Yeah, it's a known issue. My Firefox is still set to version 40.0.3 because of this.

Can't you download Internet Explorer as a browser?

That Internet Explore(IE) Tab add-on for Firefox does the trick with far less bloat and extra install time (thanks to those that suggested this in other related threads).

But you are correct that using/installing IE works around this Firefox problem too for anyone else having similar issues. I was just about to try that before I found the IE Tab.
