magmax again failing to upload 2,001,200

Just played a game of Magmax again this game failed to upload .
I really feel I should stop playing here .. totally wasting my time .

If you still have it up on screen perhaps you should follow the instructions that Kong gave earlier which were:

Press Window Key + R to open the run prompt.
Paste
%temp%\low\arcadeox\coinopF\scores
and press enter.
If folder not found then change it to
%temp%\arcadeox\coinopF\scores
and press enter.


In that folder should be two files "puddin" and "score".
Put both in a zip file and email to RU@RetroUprising.com

I found the files . I have no clue if it's one of Magmax because I have no way to watch this . The Score one is from earlier Bust A Move again

This is a new issue that is just affecting a couple users and mostly just when submitting game plays that are several hours long. The only server end problem that I know could cause this was fixed a couple days ago.

How long of a game play was this?

Are you using wifi or do you have a spotty internet connection? For example do you have to reset your router often?

this game was 4 hours or so long .. I noticed I have to login here every day . I had to login again when this was happening . If the game is over 2 hours it does not upload at least not for me

I can understand your frustration but not everyone is experiencing the problems you are right now. I know that the Mods here are trying to work with you on this which is why he asked the questions he did above.

I know I certainly have never found the site to be unstable and I have in the past both verified submissions that were over 5 hours in length and had at least one submission that was over 3 hours in length and had no problem submitting it.

At least try and work with them to figure this out I'm sure a solution can be found as to the why and how it can be made better. There are some good people behind the scenes.

Did you play another game after that attempt at a submission? If you did then that would make sense.

The only way it would work is if you did your attempt, (Seems like you are awesome enough at this game to make long submissions at will baring time to sit and do it.) try to submit, then at that point grab those files and upload them.

If after that there is still no success I wouldn't know what to say.

yes I played other games .. I do not know how this program does things ... I just did 1.2 on Magmax on the NES and my game is not over .. I bet I could do 2 million again

elrod is right - this is more of an isolated issue, but that doesn't help your frustration, I understand. We're just not sure what the problem really is. I can assure you, no one's thinking you're a cheater. Not only is it harder to cheat on this site than others, but I've seen enough of your gameplay on this site and others to understand this isn't a cheating issue at all. Like I said, someone was able to upload a 6-hr Sim City game. I just uploaded an hour long Crazy Kong game. Something's just a little off. Do what you want, but maybe you should take a break from Magmax to save your own sanity. Just a suggestion. No, that doesn't fix the issue, I know.

No, I said you sent me your latest arcade score and that you need to send me your latest NES score and I told you how to do so. Then you replied saying I was treating you like a cheater and that you were leaving the site. I didn't do anything to insinuate you were cheating. I understand this is a very frustrating problem for you but it is also frustrating on our end.

As a test, can someone else play a 4 hour game and submit it then let me know if it works or not.

If it does not work, leave the game window open and contact me.

You have to actually play the game. 4 hours of button presses is needed. Be prepared for it to fail. For this test you can play a console game and keep continuing or restarting the game. Don't press F5 to restart though.

I have no clue what I sent you because I couldn't watch it or even look at it ... I know the pic was bust a move again .. that was before I played the Magmax game ..

so it didn't save the picture or anything ..

I said a few different times when uploading long games .. It goes into not responding mode then comes back and says congrads score is uploaded .. Do you even read what I am saying?
