Bring back the Golf Tournaments!!!!

Some have asked, pleaded, begged for these to make a valiant return. It usually takes a real golf tournament to get me inspired to start one and this weekend's U.S. Open is the tournament that says "We need to start a golf tournament on RU."

For those of you who do not know, last year I started a golf season that ended abruptly but was real fun. I think this year could work out really well and since we have somewhere to start it can only improve.

So, what I need is an interest list as well as any tweaks to the rules you see fit. I'll start looking at all the golf games (any recommendations are greatly appreciated) to create a season schedule. I'll work it around team competitions and try to accommodate everyone.

You know I'm in. I wonder if we can incorporate some Genesis games (PGA Tour Golf) into the mix?

Don't like golf? Out of principle, we'll have to make sure you don't win.

It's always a fun competition. Usually, there are several participants who don't know much about golf.

I did good once because there was bonus points for improving. Which I don't think is a good rule.

The handicap rule should be tweaked a little, maybe 90% of par?

I never liked the handicap rule. I say get rid of it entirely. Lowest score wins, period.

Put me down for PGA Tour Golf (any year) on the Genesis for "Game Suggestions".
