So LeVar Burton decided to ask fans if they wanted a rebooted Reading Rainbow show
not even two days and he got his goal on Kickstarter:

LeVar is an awesome dude. Trying to make this new version of RR free for struggling schools is just more of his typical awesomeness. If it's anything like the original show it'll leave a lasting impact on millions of kids. I know it worked on me, to this day I still love the show and I think it's the reason I love reading.

I hope it remains focused on physical books, witch I'd imagine it would, since digital books are not a viable option for children under 5 or whatever.
