SNES arcade controls differ in score mode?

Just beat the HS for Wild Guns but (with no disrespect to the old score) think I could've done a whole lot better if it didn't feel so weird to suddenly have the buttons on keyboard placed completely different. Took two tries and still was very confusing because in the score mode there's a gap between jump/shoot and bomb is above jump (I have small hands forcing me to use ring finger instead of long = felt very weird).

Noticed this with Wild Guns like said but it's the first and so far only SNES game I've ran in score mode so not sure if exclusive to this game only or if it's the same with them all(?).

Is it possible to switch the controls manually? If not may I leave the suggestion that it would be better to keep arcade controls the same in "normal" mode/score mode imho.

Once the emulation starts, hit the tab key and follow the menu's to change your controls to your liking.

Re: SNES arcade controls differ in score mode?

Well...that was an easy fix. Thank you

Why do the controls differ in the first place btw? I haven't experienced it in coin-op.

Different systems/consoles. Different mappings.
