New Games in frontpage

Is it possible to know the rules that the randomizer uses to show in the "New Games" column in RU frontpage?
I guess it's "date added" related, but i already found games there, with scores since 2009

Probably it's easy to change the settings to a recent period.

It's based on how many people played it IF I remember correctly.

Tails is correct. It is based on play count. New games have lower play count so they show up there more often than older games but older unpopular games end up there too sometimes.

It is the opposite of the popular games column.

If it was strictly new games it would not have much randomness or rotation to it and would be all from one system - right now N64.
