Sandals

So I got engaged and we are definately doing an elopement, wedding/moon. We are thinking about Sandals resorts. Does anyone have any experience with these places and/or recommendations?

Congrats man, I never did Sandals thing, but I can reccomend Rome. That's where me and my wife went. It's a magical place, there is something in the air there.

Venice is cooler than Rome in my opinion. Venice looks and feels older. Rome looks like a modern city with ancient ruins here and there.

The only other place outside the US/Canada I've been is Jamaica. It's not bad but I never left the resort.

We went for the artwork, there is no way to describe the feeling of standing in the Sistine Chapel, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. For a non-art lover, I could see Venice being a better choice.

I was just saying I've been to both, liked Venice more but I did like Rome too.

Yeah I should have put Italy on that list, I went all over that country.(Rome, Vatican, Venice, Lake Como, Verano, Pisa, Florence, Capri, Pompeii, and one or 2 other places I can't remember at the moment)
