Those little details are why I think it's fake. Early in the post she acts like she doesn't even know about his retro gaming stuff, then later she documented everything so precisely. This whole thing was specifically crafted to maximize rage.

Although one of the guys on TG posted about his girlfriend (now ex-gf of course) who for some reason went and took all his Atari games to the tip. Guess she felt he was playing too much Atari. She wouldn't even tell him which tip so he go go try and find them.

I think it is totally fake. First, look at the picture...wired controllers? Yeah, that is real current gen. Whoever wrote it found a stock photo of a girl playing games and tagged that on. Second, who in the world would legitamately write that post? and do it anoynomously, unless they were obviously trolling.

Provided 'she' is even a girl, let alone if the story is real at all - overall it looks like a Troll trying to wind people up; they should've upped the stakes by saying they put the whole mess in a heap in the backyard, poured lighter fluid over it and set it ablaze whilst dancing some freaky, wild dance during a full moon {naked, of course} and caught the whole thing on camera for her future enjoyment .. or something.

My belief about this post is twofold, 1. it is written by a troll that loves all things retro and he is trolling the community that views itself as "current gen hardcore". Those who that believe 360 and PS3 and fps are the pinnacle of video games. 2. it is written by someone trolling females and how they (in the author's perspection) are clueless about the value of retro games.

My guess, some virgin teenager that is a touch on the nerdy side and got shot down my some popular cheerleading type. She loves rock band, but doesn't appriciate dragon quest.
