A small demo of a game I'm making.

I know it looks kind of.... well, primitive, but it's kind of a prototype.

You'll need Game Maker from YoYo Games to play it.

CONTROLS:

Left - move left
Right - move right
Up - jump
R - reset level (use if you get stuck in a block)

Collect "Next" sign to continue.
Gold coins - 20 pts.

go to yoyo games(google yo yo games). download the game maker free version then at the link he provided save that to your desktop or something open up game maker and play the saved file...

im assuming random does not have the full version of game maker so he cant get a .exe for you to run without game maker

The main character also has a shooting ability, but you must get a tiny green diamond to use it. Press Space to fire ammo. You have 10 bullets. Use the bullets to defeat the Spike Machines and the boss Spike Grinder at the end, she has 7 HP.

the thing i dont like is the spacing between the blocks and platforms or how you always get stuck in a block

thats why its called a demo it may have some bugs.

Yeah. Sometimes Mr. Circle (the main character) gets stuck in a block and I have to press R.

the game is basic but good for a starter... needs more difficult chalenges though like in the second level put the weapons shooting dimond on the other side of the baddie so you have to jump him to get it... stuff like that

wow I remember when I was younger trying to make games like this with 'The Games Factory'. Now I'm on a games design course at university. I think it might be better if Mr. Circle was smaller. It would give you more space for more complex level designs. I love his see through eyes. ;D
