Video Game Tattoos......

I saw this link on another forum and I thought I'd repost it since it's video game related.

Be warned though, it might be NSFW(not safe for work). Also there are some swears in the comments section. Some people got pretty heated about this for some reason. If a Mod thinks this link is too offensive feel free to take it down.

So what does everyone think? I liked almost all of them except the Pac Man one and the Sephiroth(how sad). The 11th one I liked alot, the stars on her face look hot I think.

I have been thinking of getting a tatto eventually. Since I'm longtime gamer it only makes sense to get one that's game related. Not sure what I'd get though. Maybe Luigi. Either way it won't be Sonic or Tails....

I know someone with a Half Life 2 tattoo. It's pretty silly. I will be getting a tattoo soon, but it won't be a video game one.

I hate google. when I was getting my new sig i saw a guy's arm with mario and peach doing somethin. I'm a little young to be even thinking about getting a tatoo but if I ever did, it would be about a game. Maybe (almost) full body.

If I were going to get a tattoo of a game, I would make sure it was cool looking. Some of those were kinda crappy, but whatever. I don't have any now, so it is kinda hard to say what I would get and where.

From what I understand that site I linked is making fun of it, but in a light hearted way. Some of those tattoos are actually good. Like the Atari symbol? If that's really all tattoo and not scarring then it looks awesome to me. I also liked the Konami Code Tattoo, that's something alot of people can identify with.

I was really thinking of getting Luigi because growing up I always got stuck with second player. I was always Luigi so I grew to love him, corny but true. Anyone got suggestions? I can't really think of something I won't regret in a couple years.

When it comes to tats, you almost always live to regret them eventually. But it might get old with any game tat after a very short period of time. No ideas here.

If you get a game tattoo you should make sure it is something timeless like Pac-Man. I assume everyone here is planning to live for at least another 30 years. I don't think Half Life is going to be as good as you think it is now in the year 2040. I think you would feel stupid the 100th time you explain to your 50 year old friends that that picture on your arm is from a video game you used to play when you were 20.

I used to think there was no possible way I would ever get a tattoo. Now I kind of like the idea of tattooing an optical illusion that appears to move. Something like one of these.

They are static images but they appear to be animated. I like the idea of a moving tattoo. I might try to do it with markers and see how it works out on skin.

With the American divorce rate you could even end up regretting your wife's name but I do think family tattoos would be the exception Jeckel's rule. I do tend to agree that you will regret most tattoos, though. Especially spontaneous drunk tattoos.

I had a friend, well more a friend of a roommate than me, that would tattoo himself the same as others would doodle on a scrap piece of paper. He would just write all over himself with a needle and ink. It looked horrible. He was about 22. He didn't seem to mind but if some of the stupid things I did when I was 22 were permanent.... *hangs head and shrugs*

i would say a 4 out of 10 for the most part

but the part on the inside of my arm near the arm pit ... that really hurt about a 7

after its done ill take better pictures

it really does not hurt that bad it all depends on where they do it but the pain only lasts while they are doing it.. its been almost 24 hours and now it just feels like a mild sun burn...

haha nice oasis. i would never get a game tattoo, but im planning on getting a few tattoos probably next year. im gonna get charlie parker on my right shoulder, and bass clef from my arm onto my chest outlined in UV ink, and UV skeleton tattoos on my arms and probably the rest of my upper body
