Remember the whole New play Control thing for wii? How they re-released GC games for wii? Yeah, that was pretty cool. The wii version of Pikmin was especially fantastic. However, the new play control thing stopped before Pikmin 2 was released, and everywhere but North America got Pikmin 2 for wii.
So, I'm going to my friend's birthday today, and wanted to get him a gift. What do I stumble upon?

Extremely happy, I couldn't resist picking up 2 copies (one for myself, and one for my friend, since I knew they'd love it). They were pretty cheap actually. They aren't labelled "new play control" though, probably since that's dead.
Yeah, yeah, I'm probably just out of the loop since I could care less about the new games coming out. Just thought I'd share this since this is something I thought for sure was not being released. Quite a pleasant surprise to lighten up my day.
Also, question about Pikmin 2's cover. I notced it has a different cover from the gamecube one I own.
Just wondering if anyone knows why this game had 2 different covers, because I've seen both different ones around the video stores back in the gamecube days(the other type of cover being the same one that is on the wii version posted above, only for gamecube).
