Baby Wild Squirrel - did not live long enough to open it's eyes. I was 10 years old and someone gave it to me. I do not remember why.

1 Legged Crow - a friend found an injured crow in their yard. It's leg developed gangrene and had to be amputated. He lived in my room for several months and then on the roof for about a year. I went on vacation for two weeks while my neighbor watched him. When I got back the crow had left. A year later I saw "Lost 1 legged crow" posters near my house. My theory is someone found him, took my phone number off of him and kept him as their pet for a year and then lost him. Best pet ever.

A Possum. My roommate and I found a baby one in the trash. We kept it as a pet. Was pretty cool. When he got really big we let him live in the yard. He stayed around our yard then the neighborhood for a while then we didn't see him again. Fourth best.

A Maine Coon Cat. Ex-girlfriend has him. Third best.

Half Terrier / Half Cocker Spaniel. Ex-girlfriend has him.

So what it looks like is that you take in wild animals, they escape, and then any domestic animals are taken by ex-girlfriends....lol. I am guessing the cat and dog are with the same ex?

No, Two separate girlfriends. The Main Coon Cat is a type of domestic cat. Not a wild animal. Though it was a stray which is close to being wild.

my two cats were stray as well, both were abandoned.. the rumor around where i live is they are actually brother and sister.

Right now, I've got one dog, Leo. My wife rescued him from an abusive home and now he lives with us.

He's an eight pound fireball of fluff and fur. I never thought I could love a small dog, but he's great.

I guess the weirdest animal I have ever had was a hedgehog. Her name was snowball. She was pretty cool.

Chauncy - Chicken (Found in forest preserve, most likly becasue of the reason above.)

Oh, and I have a bunch of chickens now, but they aren't really pets. They're food. They are fun though.
