I've been searching a long time for the this game, but found nothing.
As a kid in the 80's in Italy I played it quite a lot, and completed it several times, but cannot remember the title
So here I am: it was a platformer and the PC was some kind of oriental monk (shaolin? - no hair). Your weapon was initially a flail, and shortly after you found a very big double-axe which could hit opponents at your back with a large overhead swing. At some point you found a vest that allowed you to fly, and had to cross a very narrow section where you could not touch the thorns protruding from the walls.
One of the bosses was some demon who attacked you with a falcon resting on his arm
