I'm actually not sure if this is sarcastic, and it's made me rethink the topic.

People may actually be saying (with their mouths) "Snes" (not as an acronym) around Steven Cassidy. I could understand the topic a bit more if this is the case.

I had earlier assumed that he was referring to how it was written, due to the fact that he capitalized the non acronym version.

The confusion is when you talk about saying something on a forum most people assume you mean typing it out, because that's what we're doing.

If you want I can zero out the votes and change the poll. Just tell me what you want it to say.

I voted SNES, thinking you were talking about typing it. I pronounce it Super N.E.S. or Super Nintendo. Perhaps you should have replaced "say" with "pronounce" in your question and that would have avoided the confusion.
