In my long absence, I seem to have forgotten how to create a social group.

How the heck do you create a social group?

Mods can also make them. Besides being an incentive for donors we restrict them so we don't have tons of useless dead ones, quality over quantity. Back when anyone could make one we had lots of groups with one member and no posts. What did you wanna make one about?

Or, actually, since you brought it up that they might not be too popular, just classic RPG's in general. Ultima, Wizardry, Dungeon Master, etc. Even text adventures! A sort of hub for the best (and the worst) classic Western style RPG's.

That sounds better than just a rougelike one but I'm still not sure how it would work since it seems kinda unspecific. Like would we put all discussions like that in there? RU has a ton of games that fit the bill. It might help get some attention to the text adventure games on RU though.

We could highlight the obscure ones, or the ones people passed over because they were too similar to other games released at the time.
Sort of like an Antique retro game shop :P

Yeah that's how most of the other successful groups have spawned so it sounds good.
