Is this game even real?

If you have ever watched the movie "Big" with Tom Hanks in it, hes playing a text game through the whole movie. Is that game even real? Or is it just something for the movie.

Play the computer game seen in the movie Big -Destructoid

That's the first thing that came up when I searched. Been a while since I've seen the movie though so I dunno if it's right.

It turns out it's not real.

However, someone tried to re create what it may be like. It's only the one room, though, and the command system is frustrating.

I have actually gotten really curious about it every time that I've watched Big, but I this is the first time that I've looked it up.
