F Zero - Feb '12

F-Zero is a futuristic [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racing_game"]racing game[/ame] where pilots race inside plasma-powered [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hovercar"]hovercars[/ame] in an intergalactic Grand Prix at speeds exceeding 500 km/h. There are four F-Zero characters that have their own selectable vehicle along with its unique performance abilities.The objective of the game is to beat opponents to the finish line while avoiding hazards such as slip zones and magnets that pull the vehicle off-center in an effort to make the player damage their vehicle or fall completely off the track. Each machine has a power meter, which serves as a measurement of the machine's durability; it decreases when the machine collides with land mines, the side of the track or another vehicle. Energy can be replenished by driving over pit areas placed near the home straight or nearby.

Do we need to do master level? What are the requirements to consider it mastered?

If it were up to me, the mastering requirements would be to clear any league on Master difficulty. This would require you to clear that league on Expert in order to unlock Master.

Tip: Use the Fire Stingray. It's far and away the best machine.

Hey, before anyone beats this, you should totally replace the game file with the NTSC version, the version on the site is the PAL version.

Here's that F-Zero Castle beaten on Master as well. I don't know what's special about this game, it seemed exactly the same.
Did it on Queen Cup for some variety.
This is easier than I remembered o.0.

Probably not SRAM enabled either so it's another double loop.

Since my last submission was rejected due to low frame rate, I did it again. Having chat open really slowed down the game.

I've never played this game before and find this thread very confusing. I just beat the 5 tracks in the Knight League in the Beginner class but I didn't get an ending like I see screen shots for. Is this good enough for a mastery? It looks like in the post above this one Brawl did the same thing but I don't see him getting credit.

I believe you have to beat the 5 tracks on at least standard to get the ending if I remember correctly, otherwise It won't appear I believe.
