new games too fast

yopu know the old games for n64 or super nintendo or even some ps2 and ps1 games? well the new games are fun but COME ONNNNNNN. ADD SOME FRICKEN STORY LINE PLZ UNLESS IT IS A SHOOTING GAME LIKE CALL OF DUTY, THEN ADD A STORY LINE like RPGS SHOULD HAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

nobody wants to waste 40 dollars (or more)for a game with no storyline

well i think that the issue with these bigger RPG games is nowadays everyone is streassing look and graphics that all of the production time is waisted on making the game look great and less time on story and gameplay

older RPG's did not need to look awesome so they had more time to put into stories

i agree with oasis. it seems that graphics and features come before storyline now. maybe this happens when there's new technology (they would probably focus on pushing the limits of the game instead of stories).

There really isn't much you can do with a story that hasn't been done a million times over.
If you want a story, read a book or watch a movie.

nothing you can do with a story. are you kidding telling us to read a book or watch a movie.... that is why we play video games because they are a interactive book and movie. the involve you in the story and wrap you up in it... and thier are plenty of things they have not done in storys... and many great games are based off books... the most recent Lost Odyssy which is really good.

I'm just saying I don't feel I'm lacking story when I play video games.

its not lacking story. what is lacking is time spent playing a game... when we bought final fantasy 8 for the playstation that game had well over 40+hours to do everything. lost odyssy being a new game it looks and feels a whole lot like final fantasy the main differences are 1 it looks great graphics are awesome 2 it also has 4 discs of game play but i am on disc 4 almost at the end in 24 hours..

so what i was saying is that developers have spent less time developing the story and things to do and moretime making everything look pritty.
