Thinking of making a PS3 theme of retro video games

Any ideas for what I should use as icons?

I made a Chicago Blackhawk one before, so I kind of know how to do it

Yeah, the XMB. I can change most of the icons and the background

@Steve- I think he is talking about creating his own PS3 theme. If you don't have a PS3, the theme, is basically like the background of the menu. I may be confused with something else though.

@Bearhawk- Make a retro tribute to like one system like NES. Use iconic characters from the NES as icons.

What do you mean exactly? Each icon is from a different NES game if that's what you mean.

They're all replacing the icons of the XMB.

Kind of. While it does launch some applications, it's more for navigating to the different options you have on the PS3 like settings, photo and music files, managing friends and messages, etc.
